My late mother was fond of animals, so she had made a farm full of sheep’s, goats, cows, chicken and horses as soon as my biological father passed away when I was at the age of 4. I still have blurry images when my mother was devastated after my father’s death and I must tell you it is something I seriously want to forget, that time it was hell for my mother but after a few months she recovered and with the money that she got in the will of my father she opened up a farm and spent most of her time there. The farm was the second dearest to her after me and she made sure that her animals were always safe, healthy, and sound. I guess the animals were also very fond of my mother that when she passed away the farm seemed lonely and the animals weren’t energetic as they were before.

As a consequence, the animals seemed to fall sick and to me nothing was more important than their health, so I kept aside the pain and spent most of my time in the farm taking care of them. As a result, when the lawyers were distributing the property amongst Lucifer and me, Lucifer gave me the farm and named the rest of the property against his name. if I say that I wasn’t happy would be an understatement cause the house was not much valuable to me then the farm, cause through the farm I am always in the ambience of my mother and after the farm was assigned under me, the animals similarly seemed to be back to life and cooperated with me to recover and assisted me in the small business that I was operating.

At first the little money that I used to earn was seized by Lucifer, however as I started maturing up my friends David and Nessa helped me to understand that the money that I was earning from the farm has to be mine since it was my farm and I was the one running it. Lucifer and I had many clashes over this topic but in the end after several struggles and with the assistance of David and Nessa’s family I got the money from the farm and a 30 percent share from the income Lucifer was earning.

As a result, I use that 30 percent in buying groceries coupled with other essential things and the money I receive from the farm is used on the food and other necessary stuff on the animal. I make sure that I save a penny or so from both the earnings so that I could buy new clothes. How I wish my mother was full of life that I would not suffer with the concern about all these affairs but I predict I am getting stronger day by day.

David was affectionate with the horses I owned in the farm, he would train them and look after them which includes giving food, bathing and any medical treatment they need when they are injured. Likewise, Nessa was fond of the sheep’s and goats and would make sure they are healthy. Nessa would shave the wool from the sheep’s and collect them in a sack while she would give grass to the goats so they can grow. As of me, I would look after the cows and chickens which means I would extract milk from the cow and take the eggs from the chickens, together we would put all the items in the barn and clean the entire farm together.
