It was 8 and I had to be in the farm but due to some bruises I got last night from Lucifer’s friend, it was hard to do anything. Only I knew how I woke up, made breakfast, washed the dishes and clean the house. I was genuinely drained but I can’t neglect those poor acquitted lives that reside in my farm so I had to reach there as hurriedly as I could. As soon as I arrived there, David and Nessa were already preparing for their work besides I felt depraved that they had partaken to do all these when it was my responsibility to work it out. They coexisted all the time for me since my mother walked down the aisle with Lucifer and would eternally give me moral support. David acknowledged my presence, he sprinted towards me at the same time as Nessa however in a little while as they fumbled near I got a glimpse of unhappy look on both their faces but then again the one that caught my attention was David’s cause not only did he have a look of hurt but also a fuming expression that as soon as he saw Lucifer he was going to beat the hell out of him.

David has always been protective and caring, his family as well as himself forced me to move in with them as quickly as they acknowledged the weekend torture I went through but after a lot of effort they let me dwell in that house. In search of a good white lie that would make them feel better I just told them that I was in good health and they don’t have to worry about anything, but I could sense that they weren’t convinced nevertheless Nessa let that pass through. David and Nessa shared a look and before I could make out anything Nessa walked away, after that when she was earshot away David examined me and enquired me about the details. I couldn’t lie to him so I told him the events that occurred yesterday, meanwhile I didn’t fathom that I was tearing before I sensed David’s hands wiping the tears from my face. It always comforted me when he hugs and tells me that everything is going to be alright and that he was here.

After a few jokes we were back to work and at 9 we left for town to sell the wool, eggs, and milk after keeping a proportion for ourselves. It was 11 when we returned home and after sharing the money which they didn’t allow because they said that they were doing it for fun we left for our respected houses. It was just like any normal day where I would go through the lane that was covered with different types of pebbles and they would forever have amazed me on how beautiful they are. After having a stroll in the neighborhood I came in connect with the familiar construction that resembled as my house. Like any normal day I walked in but to my surprise Lucifer was laying down on the couch that was available in our sitting room. As I walked closer, Lucifer was sleeping but I got a glimpse of how pale he was and apart from that he had blood oozing from his head. Not wanting the wound to increase and get infective I hurried to the kitchen to prepare the tonic which we use to heal the wounds in the village.

After an hour Lucifer looked well again then he did before and the wounds had been securely strap up. No matter how depraved he has been to me, he was my deceased mothers husband and she came back to life after being with him so under this gratitude I have to remain patience and be nice. Perhaps one day everything will be alright. I still don’t understand why he changed all over sudden, I mean he was good n loving towards me when my mother was alive but everything changed after that tempestuous night.

Knowing Lucifer will wake up and be hungry, I rushed to the kitchen to warm the food up and arrange the table for him. Aware that he hates things not going on time I had to be quick enough to do all that n disappear in front of his eyes, since he made it sure enough that he hates seeing me on plenty occasions and I have given up trying to create a bonding between the two of us.
