"These are the facts love, Jimins ass is the absolute fattest" NamJoon said with as much pride as a hotdog. Only because Jin was staring daggers at him.
"Well, you're right I guess" Jin hummed in reply, NamJoon calming down soon after. "But I'm still better looking than him" Jin stated like a fact.
"Uh- I'm right here" Jimin said, shoving some rice in his mouth. It was a Monday morning and Yoongi wasn't anywhere to be seen. And so was Hoseok.
"Anyways where's Yoongi?" Jin asked as if Jimin wasn't even present. The younger of the trio just sighed in disbelief, hugging himself.
"I saw him skipping towards Hoseok's class, probably to see him" NamJoon shrugged.
And he was, skipping towards the science department, in hopes to see his sweetheart. But the moment he saw the redhead, his heart swelled. Because Athena was hoisted up on a desk with the latter between her legs, making out sensually.
He watched Hoseok's hands trail under her skirt before he ripped his gaze away, eyes teary. He wasn't supposed to feel this way, after all, it has been over a decade since he's seen the red head.
With a choked sob, he ran away.
He ran. It was clear to say that the boy felt an uncertain amount of pain from the situation at hand, but when he saw Hoseok and Athena it didn't stop him from overthinking.
Once he ran outside of the main building of the school, he saw the abandoned hall. Yoongi had heard various rumours about what goes down in there, from exorcists to weed smoking.
And his curiosity took over his sense of direction, walking across the pavement that trailed its way towards the wreck. From afar it seemed old and looked like a mess, but up close it was a piece of art.
Graffiti covered the walls like it was meant to be part of a museum. Vines fell from the roof and moss scattered across the floor.
Yoongi took a step in flicking his head towards something that snapped nearby. Walking forward, his eyes scanned one room that resembled something he remembered as a kid.
The nostalgic feeling was strong, like he was reliving the moment again. Déjà vu.
But the thing that scared him the most was the piano that lived in his imagination for moments far too long. The maroon colour reflected off the surface of the instrument, blaring around creating a halo affect.
The sun was in the right spot, just enough to shadow the beauty right below the tip of Yoongi's worn out sneakers. He really needed new shoes. But Never-mind about that, there's more important matters.
Something about that piano was alluring, tugging him towards it as he dragged his feet forward. His fingers glided across the keys, occasionally pressing a key down as he goes.
"It still works?" Yoongi mumbled, sitting down. He took a deep inhale and released, starting to play a famous piece he learnt as a kid. Moonlight sonata.
Yoongi is a born introvert, so he found it difficult to make friends. Hoseok was the first friend he ever made, so he made a promise to himself to love and cherish the boy forever and always.
To others it maybe a silly promise that a kid made, but he devoted his life to that promise, always on his best behaviour with his uncle and "aunt".
So the saying "actions speak louder than words" was well kept to Yoongi. He spoke through his music, hoping that a soul out there was willing to listen.
And Yoongi has a gift, a talent that only he inherited.
Things around him started to float, but he barely noticed since he was so lost in the piece he was playing. His eyes were closed and the aura that he gave off was powerful.
It wasn't until a piece of plastic flew in front of his eyes did he stop. Everything dropped to the ground in a heartbeat, falling back into place.
"Shit! Somebody could've seen that" he mentally scolded himself, grabbing his things and running out.
The piano was still fresh on his mind when he left that building.
________
"Sorry babe, I've got to go" Hoseok pushed Athena away when he saw Yoongi sprint pass the classroom.
"Ugh again? That boy is getting to your head!" She rolled her eyes and buttoned her shirt up. "Don't bother texting me tonight" she shoved Hoseok away.
Hoseok groaned, but his friend always goes first. That's a rule that he stuck to all the time, Yoongi first, bitches second.
He ran through the corridors, following Yoongi, but once he saw the older enter the abandoned building he stopped in his tracks. Nothing scared Hoseok, not even the glare from his father. But when it came to this building, shivers ran down his spine.
Fear is inevitable.
He took a large gulp of air and exhaled, running in behind Yoongi. His fear spiked when he heard a faint piano noise, but he needed to look for Yoongi.
So he followed the sound. At first he was sceptical, but now the will to find Yoongi was strong. The sound had gotten louder and louder as he neared the door that looked out of place with this building.
Hoseok touched the knob and pulled back immediately, hissing at the burn. Panic started to rise through his body as he shouted, banging on the door.
"Yoongi! Get the fuck out of there! The room is on fire!!" He panted, looking around to see if there was anything to break the door down, but when Hoseok turned to the door, it opened.
Out came a worked up Yoongi. Sweat dripped down his neck as the tears were still fresh on his face.
"Yoongi- what the fuck?!" Hoseok shrieked loudly when the boy walked through him. "This isn't real" he repeated like a broken record.
Hoseok followed him around, not knowing what to do. All of a sudden Yoongi halted, looking around and shivering.
"I swear, I can feel someone following me" Yoongi whispered to himself.
He hesitated for a bit before walking again, a transparent Hoseok still following him.
"Yoongi, Yoongi, Yoongi" Hoseok repeated like a mantra, trying to gain the others attention.
"wait does this mean I can fly?" Hoseok asked himself. He stood on a football post and created a T pose. Don't ask how he got up there, he just did.
He fell forward, falling on the damp grass. Groaning in pain, Hoseok pushed him self up and rubbed his head.
" so Yoongi can walk through Me, but I can still touch things?" Hoseok practically scoffed "what type of logic is that?". He looked around, trying to spot the shorter boy again, wanting to tease him.
He picked up a stick and threw it at yoongis head. "ouch what the fuck?" Yoongi said, lifting the stick up. Hoseok let out the most ugliest laugh he's ever done. Yoongi glared at the stick before snapping it in half. He continued walking around the school, Hoseok still following.
"Yoongi, Yoongi, Yoongi" Hoseok started again. It wasn't until the older groaned and yelled. "shut the fuck up will you!" he turned around and glared at Hoseok.
"you can see me!?"
"of course I can you dipshit, why are you following me around?" Yoongi asked, annoyed as fuck.
"hmm... So it's temporary huh?" Hoseok took a mental note of that. He grinned at yoongi.
"I'm sorry kitten, I was caught up in my thoughts" Hoseok started.
"gross, I don't want the same nickname as your hoe" Yoongi stated, wanting a new one.
"then I'll just call you..." Hoseok thought for a second"uh huh! I'll call you pussy! "
" bitch, no the fuck you won't "Yoongi added with a glare.
" how about... Yoongles? " Yoongi shook his head.
" sweetheart? Cupcake? Cutie pie? "
" no, no, and absolutely not! "
" fine... How about yoonie? "
Yoongi thought for a second and nodded happily.
