009- i love you

>20th December 2019< (damn that's a long time away)

Yoongi walked down the street, hands in his pockets and face tucked into half of his scarf. He stood underneath the huge Christmas display and watched the lights sparkle.

His eyes were wondering around the crowd of people, spotting a familiar mop of orange hair.
He approached the person and gave out a gummy smile.

"jimin!" Yoongi waved and ran in for a hug.

"ah! Yoongi hyung" jimin gave a warm smile, "what are you doing here?" he asked, releasing from the hug.

"I'm just here to appreciate beauty" Yoongi smiles and looked back up at the lights. "hyung look above our heads" jimin said pointing up at the mistletoe.

Yoongi looked up, then faced back to jimin who's face was centimetres away. Flustered by the flirtatious boy Yoongi pecked his lips and giggled.

"come on yoongs! That wasn't a kiss" jimin kept egging Yoongi on.

"well it's all you're going to get" Yoongi smiled and poked his tongue at jimin.

Yoongi and jimin laughed all night long, enjoying each others company.

That was until jimin received a text from his mother telling him to get home.

Jimin kissed Yoongi softly on the cheek and bid him goodbye, leaving the flustered older alone.

Once again Yoongi was alone, craving hot chocolate.

He checked the time, 09:17 pm. Sighing, he walked around the night markets and inhaling the loving scent of food. He patted his stomach and grabbed his wallet, pacing towards the rice noodle shack.

He smelled the delicious warm food and smiled, looking ahead of the line and spotting a familiar tall figure amongst the common folk.

"Hoseok!" Yoongi smiled and waved, only to be ignored and glared at. Yoongi, not knowing that hoseok was annoyed with his presence approached the taller.

"Hoseok he-" Yoongi was cut off, hoseok now glaring holes into his soul.

"What do you want!?" Hoseok yelled, catching the attention of a few people surrounding them.

"What's wrong?" Yoongi asked worriedly.

"Nothing, go back to your boyfriend" hoseok snapped, clenching his fist unintentionally.

"what boyfriend? I'm single as fuck" Yoongi threw his little arms in the air, making the statement stand out.

"don't lie to me, I saw you kissing him" hoseok turned and crossed his arms like the child he is.

"what kiss? I wasnt-" Yoongi then remembered the small peck he shared with jimin. "why are you getting so worked up over a small kiss under the mistletoe?" Yoongi giggled and shook his head.

"a mistletoe kiss huh?" hoseok smirked, his plan now falling into place. "look up yoonie" hoseok pointed to the mistletoe above their heads.

"you cheeky little-" hoseoks lips quickly attached to Yoongis.
Their lips moved in sync, like they were made for each other. Hoseoks arms wrapped around Yoongis small waist to deepen the kiss, Yoongis arms around hoseoks neck.

They unattached and clung to eachother like koalas, panting and inhaling each others scent.

"T-that was amazing" Yoongi panted in a flustered voice.

"better than jimin?" hoseok smirked.

Yoongi released his grip on hoseoks neck and crossed his arms.
"no" Yoongi poked his tongue out and smiled at hoseok.

"oh please, I know it was better with the way you moaned into my mouth" hoseok snapped back cheekily.

"I-" Yoongis eyes widened, blushing furiously.

"shut up hoseok" Yoongi faced away, smiling as the snow flakes landed on his head.

"HOSEOK ITS SNOWING!!" Yoongi jumped for joy and caught each snowflake falling on his hand.

Hoseok just smiled at the shorter boy and interlocked their hands, placing them in his pockets.

Yoongi stared at hoseok and gulped, paying attention to the snowflakes, distracting himself from the warmth radiating from hoseoks body.

"Yoongi" hoseok started, hearing a small hum in response.

"a person once told me that once you confess your love at the first snow fall, the love will be everlasting" hoseok turned his attention to Yoongi.

"Yoongi" hoseok started "I love you".

But no one knew that those three words would bring pain to both of those two boys, defining love nowadays is quite interesting.

A mothers love, the love you came into the world with but can never replace.

A love of a best friend, the temporary yet comforting love.

And the love of a significant other, a love so beautiful that it will never run dry, a love that will forever be imprinted in your heart, always there and never leaves, no matter how much you try and forget it, it will always be there.

Now the type of love hoseok has for Yoongi, it could be a best friend type of love, regrowing from the past. The motherly type of love, such as always looking out for what's his and the significant other love, the love of everlasting happiness or pain.

"I love you too hoba~"
