Theresa's pov

I know I should've stayed away from him. He's just a bad boy with a tainted heart. I just can't deny I love that guy. Daniel Murillo, you are my whole world. But the one thing keeping us apart is my family because you are a criminal. This isn't rational love, it's psychical. My mom is worried, scared. My mom says he's just a dog astray. Mom told me to stay away from him, but how could I? He's everything I've ever wanted, with the one exception.

"Theresa, Stay away from him."

I look up at my best friend Vanessa, she is dating a guy named Jorel Decker. She thinks I should also stay away from Danny, they just don't understand.

"Vee, I just can't, he's everything I've ever wanted."
"Reese, he kills people!"
"I know Vanessa, but I can't help it. I love him, he's just a bad boy with a tainted heart."

Vanessa rolls her eyes and quickly gets up as she stares at the door.

"Remember what I said. Goodbye Reese."

She says quickly and walks out of the cafe. I watch as Danny walks in and almost everyone is on edge.

"Hey babe."

He says and I smile as he leans down and kisses me. I kiss him back before feeling something against my side.

"Come with me. I wanna show you something."

I shudder and walk out of the cafe with him.

"I love you so much Reese and I'll do anything for you."

Danny says stopping outside of a shop and kneeling on one knee. My hands fly to my mouth and he smiles and pulls out the most beautiful ring ever.

"Theresa, I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you and making you happy. Please make me the happiest man alive by saying yes. Theresa, will you marry me?"

I wipe my eyes and look at him while smiling.

"Yes, yes one thousand times yes Danny. I love you."

He puts the ring on my finger and gets up and kisses me passionately.

This could be bad.

It is so worth the risk though.
