I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool

As quickly as the scuffle had started, any trace of it disappeared in an instant as a fuming Coach Johnson led the boys out of the hall. The remaining students immediately began to whisper and speculate about what had just happened. It wasn't like they hadn't witnessed a fight before, but no one had expected well-disciplined students such as Alexander and Buvhi to ever be involved in such 'scraps'.

Amrisha was standing, trying to comprehend what had happened, when a sharp nail tapped her shoulder. She turned around to find herself nose-to-nose with Emanda, who bore a murderous expression. "If you," the other girl snarled, "or any of your petty friends, ever touch my Pierre again, I swear I will find you and ruin you." She flexed her manicured fingernails to demonstrate, and before Amrisha could respond, whipped around and walked right away. Amrisha blinked. She had expected Emanda to attack her again. Maybe she had some ulterior motive that she would unveil later. But Emanda's simple words were enough. Guilt overwhelmed Amrisha, like a knife stabbing her stomach.

Another thought crossed Amrisha's mind. Why had Pierre been walking towards her? They were over now, so what the hell did he want? Nevermind what he wanted, Amrisha tried to convince herself. It doesn't matter. He's a cheater...

"Amrisha, you alright?" Amrisha turned and saw Saige hurrying over with a concerned expression on her face, followed by Sophie and Luc.

She jumped but quickly tried to rearrange her features. "Oh um, yeah, sure," she stammered.

"Those boys are gonna be in so much trouble," piped Alek, who had appeared suddenly out of nowhere, as usual.

"Well, Pierre deserved it," Sophie muttered. "That little-"

"I am wholly astonished that you two didn't join in," Saige interrupted, eyeing Alek and Luc suspiciously.

"Fighting is not allowed in this good Christian household," Luc said solemnly. He had somehow managed to obtain his own "vous desirez UNE VIE" cap, and whether it was his own or stolen from Coach Johnson, Amrisha did not know. With all her friends around her, she began to calm down a bit. She didn't need anyone like Pierre in her life, so she shouldn't care what people like him thought about her. And it was just as well she found out about Emanda before things got too complicated with Pierre. She just wished that there didn't have to be so much drama for once in her life.

After about twenty minutes, the boys involved in the fight were released, having each received a week of detention. At least Amrisha had some people to do detention with her now. Soon enough, everyone was back to having fun on their last day in Paris, as the two groups of students were taken to the Eiffel Tower on the metro. Sadipoh and Zac, however, had to be closely supervised and separated from Pierre and Samuel by Coach Johnson and Madame Choux.

The metro was more packed than usual, and Amrisha somehow ended up in a car full of males. On one end, a large group of uniformed private school boys were talking loudly in French. On her end, were all the boys who had been involved in the fight as well as some French students from their host school. "What on earth was that about?" Amrisha asked Sadipoh as the train began to pull out of their station.
