"....I am underwhelmed."

"I told you Gwacheon is nothing special."

"...It just looks like the cheaper version of Seoul." Seokjin laughed. "It's close to Seoul obviously it will look like it." Jungkook grabbed Seokjin's hand. "Let's just go meet up with your old friends."

"...They no longer live in Gwacheon." Jungkook looked at Seokjin with disbelief. "Where are they then?" Seokjin just shrugged.

"Fine, family then."

"I don't think that's a good id-"

"Why not? Not everyone in your family is like your parents right?" Seokjin looked at Jungkook with an uneasy look. "...They're all homophobic?"

"Yeah... Well, actually..."

-

"Hi auntie."

"...Who's that?" Seokjin looked behind him to Jungkook. "Jungkook."

"You brought a friend? Ah Jinnie I am so happy to see you again." The older woman pinched Seokjin's cheek. "Auntie, I have something to tell you and uncle." She looked surprised before letting the two men in.

"MINHYUN GET YOUR ASS DOWNSTAIRS." Rapid footsteps were heard coming down the stairs. "Yes dear?" He asked before his eyes fell on Seokjin.

"Seokjin! How is it? It's been like 8 years! How is your wife?" Seokjin cringed, right, he never told them about the divorce either.

"Is she taking care of your kids?"

"Uhm, no, we divorced... like 8 years ago."

"Oh my, what happened?" Auntie let Seokjin sit on the couch, her and his uncle sitting next to him.

"Uhm well... It was a mistake because I found out that I was actually... uhm..." Uncle and Auntie slowly shifted their gaze towards Jungkook. "Was what?" She asked while maintaining eye contact with Jungkook, who was sweating profusely.

"Don't hate me please..."

"Just say it Seokjin." Uncle Minhyun said sternly.

"I'm... also into guys."

"And?"

"And... Jungkook is my boyfriend." Auntie looked at Uncle. "I fucking told you so."

"...You did."

"Pay up." Auntie stuck out her hand and Uncle put a 50 dollar bill in it.

"...You... You bet on whether I was bi or not?"

"...It was painfully obvious that you would turn out at least a little gay Seokjin." Uncle said. "And we saw you making out with a guy on new years eve party." Auntie added, Seokjin's eyes widened and Jungkook burst out in laughter.

"Wow, so much for trying to hide it."

Seokjin looked at his auntie and uncle. "You aren't going to abandon me?"

"No? Why would we?"

"His parents did." Jungkook snarked, aunties eyes darkened. "I will go have a talk with my sister."

-

"HOW COULD YOU ABANDON YOUR SON FOR LOVING SOMEONE!"

"IT'S A GUY!"

"IT'S THE FUCKING 21ST CENTURY GET OVER YOURSELF."

Seokjin was covering Jungkook's ears while the two women were screaming their heads off at each other.

The two woman started pulling each others hairs before their husbands swooped in and stopped them from fighting. "Give your son some love!" Auntie yelled. "He isn't my son!" Auntie glared at Seokjin's mom before walking over to Seokjin and interlacing their arms. "Fine, then he is my son from now on."

-

"Paperwork is done, he is all yours." Seokjin's biological mother said, smashing the papers on table. "I never want to see any of you ever again." She walked out, her husband trailing closely behind her. Auntie looked over at Seokjin with a smile. "I've always wanted a kid and now I have an amazing son." She pinched Seokjin's cheek. Jungkook still stared at disbelief how they have been here for a few days and a 30 year old just got adopted. Auntie looked at Jungkook. "And we have an amazing son in law. Honey isn't that great?"

"Sure my love." Uncle hugged Auntie from behind having a fatherly smile on his face directed towards Seokjin.

"...I'm still calling you Auntie and Uncle though."

"That's fine Jinnie."
