This oneshot takes place after Enterprise's sacrifice.
"Enterprise... ENTERPRISE!!!"
"...Huh? Where am I?" Enterprise mumbles as white begins to fill her vision. Enterprise has found herself in a white space of some sort, laying on the water and looking out into the endless white horizon. She slowly gets up and realizes that she doesn't have her weapons on her, but her reaction to that pales in comparison to seeing a certain white clothed figure. "Jack?"
"Yep, it's me." Jack replies.
"Where am I?" Enterprise asks again.
"Where are you? It's... Kinda complicated." Jack replies. "Hey, there's something that I want to show you." He adds as he produces a mirror. Enterprise finds herself staring at her evil self, but suddenly her reflection seems to crack until finally it shatters, leaving behind her normal appearance once more.
"Whoa..." Enterprise says as she removes her commander's cap, but that's when she sees it- a yellow ring floating over her head.
"Now you see?" Jack asks as he takes off his commander's cap and reveals he has that same ring floating over his head.
"A halo..." Enterprise says. "I'm dead aren't I?"
"Yep." Jack replies.
"So that means..." Enterprise begins. "...You remember everything before you died don't you?"
"And then some." Jack replies. "It played out like some sort of horrifying dream, I had no control of my body, and then I found myself back in here, completely unchanged."
"I still remember that, and I know exactly what you're talking about." Enterprise says. "I held you in great honor and reverence despite that. I knew you for all of your victories, all of your reckless charges, even how you accepted some of the Ironblood ships into your own fleet."
"That letter got out fast didn't it?" Jack chuckles. "I was hoping one of them would find it after I died. Did they ever find a new commander to replace me? Or was I too good?"
"Remember Bismarck?" Enterprise asks, and Jack nods. "She became the first shipgirl commander in your place."
"Now that is quite the milestone I helped set off." Jack chuckles. "We could spend the rest of our afterlife talking like this but I think that would be quite boring."
"What can you do here?" Enterprise asks.
"Well you can conjure up just about anything you want, and all of that cool stuff. I just never understood why I get these when I decide to give myself weapons to train with..." Jack replies as he conjures up gun mounts for himself, the same ones that his body was grafted with when he was resurrected. "They're the same ones from that nightmare."
"I'm not sure honestly." Enterprise says as she conjures up her bow. "How good is your aim?"
"What are you talking about?" Jack asks as Enterprise launches some of her planes. These ones, compared to the ones she was using when she was still alive, shine with an ethereal light and look as if they had never been flown.
"I'd like to see you try to shoot one of these down." Enterprise chuckles.
"Alright, don't count on me downing all of them though." Jack chuckles back as he aims with his cannons and fires. Much to Enterprise's humor Jack ends up missing, and the same thing happens when he tries again.
"It'll be a while before you get used to those." Enterprise chuckles.
"It'll take you forever to get used to the afterlife. I know I'm still not." Jack chuckles before the both of them start laughing heartily. "Who knows, maybe one day the others will come join us."
"Hopefully that's not soon. We finally managed to destroy the Sirens. They'll never pester our friends again." Enterprise replies happily.
"I'm glad to see my goal was finally reached." Jack says as the two share a hug.
