[Cassidy's POV]
Dean pulled the car into a rather empty parking lot of "Seaside motel", interesting name for such a barren landscape. It was only about 6 blocks away from the school.
Once again as per usual, Dean used a fake ID and credit card to reserve a room. Veronica, Ethan, and I helped load stuff into the room. I noticed a bit of staring from the start. Whether it was paranoia, or my hometown just got creepier. The cause was unknown to me.
What I did know, was that this was going to be a long week."Alright kiddo's, I sound like my father when I say this but you are going to school tomorrow. The goal is to gain information about the towns happenings and see exactly what we are dealing with here.Try to blend in,As hard as that may be. If anyone asks you questions, tell them they can deal with your dad. That or give them the cold shoulder. Your choice" Sam smiled, as he spoke to us. Mainly directing his message towards me.
He light-Heartedly smiled,
"Your first day is tomorrow" He said, I tilted my head it wasn't my first day to the school, it would be better known as my first day back.My mind was racing.
"Will my old friends hate me?"
"Do they think we are killers?
I mean we just disappeared after 3 deaths!"A million scenarios were clouded in my mind, I shook my head to rid myself of the little devil and angel sitting on my shoulder.
Regardless of what I thought, this is what I needed to do.
There were a ton of omens, and this was the hotspot.
Random thunderstorms, electrical shortages, the occasional flash floods. These odd phenomena continued plaguing the town, yet as per usual no one knew the true cause. Except us.~Time Skip-One day later-
(Narrators POV)
Cas, Veronica and Ethan prepared to enter the building and life they once knew as normal. A week of normality is something they needed, yet it wasn't going to go that way. They were runaways, presumed witnesses to murders, their proposed kidnap cases posted on newspapers.(Cassidy's POV)
I threw my bookbag onto the motel floor, I hadn't looked in it in a good while. Since I usually used my duffle bag that Dean had given me. I rummaged around.
Noticing my journal and a glint of sharp metal.
I pulled it out of the bag, realizing I still had the silver dagger from around 2 months ago. 2 Months filled with hunting monsters and dealing with un-warranted trauma.I found a holster, specially customized for a knife or dagger.
I pulled out the knife, inspecting the runes carved on the blade and handle. It reflected off the light. I swiftly fastened it into the holster that was now attached to my hip.
Pulling a burgundy 'Radio Company' hoodie over it, easily hidden from prying eyes. Purely a safety measurement,
I still wasn't quite sure what it did completely. Or why I stumbled upon it 2 months ago on that day.
All I knew that it killed demons, or at least sent them back to hell.I slung my bookbag over my shoulder, the grey and coral straps contrasting against my hoodie.
I got to the impala in under a minute, I opened the door to the front passenger seat, Laying my bookbag on the floor between my feet. I leaned back into the warm leather seat, my hand reaching for the seatbelt.
Yet my action abruptly halts as I hear a knock on the window.
Sam stands on the opposite side of the glass, swinging the keys between his thumb and index finger with a smirk.Dean was still asleep and awaiting the breakfast Sam promised to grab.
Due to that, Sam let me drive the car. I grinned, jumping out of the passenger seat and taking the keys,"Are you sure?" I questioned as I put
the key into the slot.
He nodded
"Just don't hit anything"
He said chuckling with a smile
I smirked, revving the engine, and pulling out of the lot. Kicking up dirt and rocks as we sped out.Ethan was holding on for dear life. Veronica put her hands in the air as we sped down the roadway.
After a good ten minutes we were at the school. I dreaded getting out of this car. My heart sunk as I saw eyes all over me and the car, my two friends in the back slumped into their seats.I stepped out of the car, the heel of my shoe practically gluing to the pavement, longing to just jump straight back in the car and speed away. We all exited the car, and there we were.
The 3 runaways standing outside of the school we disappeared from. The kids who had no family left according to the records of the town. 3 kids who disappeared and returned seemingly normal.
Whispers filled the air, kids Atari at the trio with curious eyes.
"What kind of car is that?!" A boy shouted in a confused and almost mocking tone.I turned to him with a blank face , and smiled.
"A 67' Impala" I replied smugly."Woah that's the car in the supernatural books! A few girls and guys chirped.
A couple kids marveled at the car. Sam got out and began walking towards the drivers seat.
"He looks like Sam Winchester" one of the guys in the nerdy Clique chuckled.
Ethan,Ronnie and I shared a collective stare. Then turned around and made our way into the building.
