Chapter 2 - Friend or Foe

"(Y/n)?" Issei stands completely puzzled. "Why are you helping stray devils? What's with the Ice? And what's with all this fog?"

"So many questions..." You jump off of the beam, you were standing on, landing in front of Kioko and Shiori. "However all require simple answers. My magic caused the Ice. My Sacred Gear, Dimension Lost, is responsible for the fog. As for me helping the girls, not all strays are bad, and conversely not all masters are good."

"Wait don't you wear glasses?"

"Really Saji, after everything I just said the one thing you're still questioning is my glasses." You roll your eyes. "They're for show, I use them to help conceal my identity, I go to a school filled with Devils."

"How does glasses help disguise you?" Kiba asked.

"Clearly you've never noticed how different someone looks without their glasses on." A slender girl, with long brown that ends in two short braids, said.

"Reya you have a point, he's even cuter with out them on." A short girl with brown hair, tied back in twin tails,  says.

"I have to agree with Ruruko." A white haired girl with Blueish green eyes said.

"What are you two Momo, Ruruko, what are you two talking about he obviously looks cuter with his glasses on." A girl with shoulder length reddish brown hair said. "It makes him look younger and more distinguished."

"Tomoe, he looks better without the glasses." A tall tom boyish girl with short blue hair bluntly said.

"Tsubasa, Momo, Ruruko, Tomoe, enough we have other things to worry about."

"Y-yes Vice President!" They all three nervously shout. Tsubaki turns her attention back towards you.

"Shiroi and Kioko are sister, and both served an abusive master." Shivers went up both of the spines just thinking about it. "I work with a few individuals that help save devils and others from bad masters."

"Look, (y/n) I know you want to help these girls, but that doesn't change the fact they still abandon their master, and become stra..."

"So that means they die?" You glare at Rias. "Wasn't Koneko a stray once? She joined you, so what's to stop these two from doing something similar?"

"..." Rias stayed silent.

"Our orders were to eliminate them, not protect them." Sona stated bluntly. She holds out her hand, and a magic circle forms, and water blasts towards Kioko, but it freezes before it reaches her.

"I was hoping to avoid a fight with you, but If I have to I'll lay my life on the line for these two." The temperature in the room drops even further, and small ice crystals form sporadically. "I'll offer this one more time, we can end this now, and no one will get hurt."

"I don't like this anymore then you do, but we have our orders, and I refuse to fail." Sona blasts water at you and the girls, and just like before you freeze the water. The ice burst filling the room with small ice crystals creating a hazy mist. "Damn I lost them."
Sona and the others break the Ice holding them.

"I found him!" Saji rushes towards what he thinks is you, but when he punches you, you shatter into small Ice crystals, revealing it to be a ice statue and not really you. "Good trick, but that won't work twice!" Saji punches another Ice statue. "Damn it."
Issei summons his sacred gear, but Rias puts her hand on his shoulder and shakes her head.

"Saji!" Tsubaki shouts, as a mirror appears in front of him, and its hit by shurikens made of ice. The mirror reflects the shurikens and they smash through a Ice statue.

"I don't want to keep fighting, I've been taking it easy on you, but if this continues..." the Mist disappears revealing you to be standing in the same spot you were from the start. "I won't hold back any further."

"Give us everything you got (y/n)!" Saji shouts. "We're not let President down!" Saji, Tsubasa, Momo, Tomoe, Ruruko, Reya, And Tsubaki stand in front of Sona.

"Have it your way." You close your eyes for a moment, and when you open the thick clouds of purplish fog fill the room.

"Damn it fight us like a man." Saji shouts.

"That doesn't hold up very well, seeing as it's eight on one." You make your way towards Reya without her knowing. "Consider it evening the playing field." You place your hand on her back, and Reya screams as she is frozen solid.

"Reya!" Saji shouts. "What did you do?"

"I took her out of the equation." Ruruko screams as the same thing happens to her.

Saji, Sona, and Tsubaki all bump into each other and startled themselves before figuring out who each other is.

"I can't see a thing."

"We know Saji, neither can we."

"Perhaps, we should stand back to back, limit how open we are." Tsubaki suggested.

"Smart move." Sona agrees, and the all three turn and put their backs together. "His sacred gear, Dimension Lost, is one of the thirteen longinus', and this one is a bad one. It can create fog, usually for defensive purposes, but he's using it to completely block our vision."

"And with his Ice magic..." Tsubasa and Momo's screams cut Tsubaki off.

"He's extremely dangerous." Saji finished her thought as he growled. "Absorption Line!" A black chameleon shaped gauntlet appears on the back of Saji's hand. Tomoe screams signaling she has been frozen as well. "You bastard!" A pale blue line shoots from the chameleons mouth. "I think I hit him."

"What the hell." You look down, and see the blue line wrapped around your right arm. It starts to pull you. "Damn." You growl. I can feel this thing drain my power, this must be one of the sacred gears' that houses a piece of Vritra. I grab a hold of the line, and Ice starts to form on it.

"Ahh!" Saji cries out in pain as ice travels from the line, and slowly creeps up his arm.

"I got you no..." a explosion on the roof goes off, cutting you off, and three fallen angels fly in through the ceiling.

"Would you look at that the little Sitri group, and the little Gremory group both in one place." One of the fallen angels says. My fog, disappears revealing me holding still freezing Saji's sacred gear. "And can you believe it, Leviathan is with them. What are the odds?"

"What are these creeps doing here?" Issei readies himself.

"The demonic energy released from our fight must have brought them here." You let go of Saji's line, and the ice on him and the other girls melts.

"I always knew he was the smartest of the original Satans' descendants." The fallen angel, wearing a black hoodie laughed.

"Usiel, stop you'll inflate the little devils ego." The fallen angel that first spoke laughed maniacally.

"Izrail, enough, we came here for one reason, and that was not to mock the devils." A large fallen angel, wearing a black and with robe spoke in a deep voice.

"Geez, calm down Zephon, We're just trying to make the little devils dance before we kill them." Usiel laughed.

"The Red Dragon Emperor, and the Leviathan have the sacred gears we are after, the others are of little concern to us." Zephon spoke.

"Yeah, but the rest we can write off as collateral damage." Izrail, sadisticly licked his lips. "I'm gonna enjoy this."
