Chapter 2

Three men walked down the hallway in silence,they were going to the infirmary to get Daniel patched up.

Daniel had insisted that it was unnecessary but his point was proved wrong when his arm spiked with pain from the freshly opened cut.

When they got there,people were rushing around the room getting ready to perform a surgery to get the scissor half out safely & stitch the wound closed.

A woman walked over to the three at the door,she bowed slightly to the man with glasses."Hello lord Julican,what brings you here?"She leaned her head to the side slightly to see the two behind him.

"I need someone to help with this boys injuries,he's been hurt badly & I suspect he may or may not have internal bleeding"Julican spoke calmly,she looked behind him fully & examined the two men.

When she looked at Daniel, her eyes widened,she quickly rushed over & pulled him to an empty room.

"I will take my leave now,I'll be back to check up on his state later, I presume you're going to stay with him?"He looked at Azual,the other demon nodded slowly as he stared after Daniel & the nurse.

Azual hesitantly made his way to the room,he walked in to find the nurse disinfected multiple wound on Daniel's body.Bruises & cuts littered his skin,some were newer looking,others seemed older.He winced as he noticed multiple different types of wounds that were caused by torture tools.

Daniel looked over at Azual as the nurse cleaned his many injuries, the look on Azual's face told him he felt extremely guilty.Daniel didn't like that,he didn't want Azual blaming himself for something he didn't do & couldn't control.
"It's not your fault,you couldn't have known,so stop looking so down.I'm alright,now come here"Daniel spoke sweetly,it slightly caught Azual off guard but he didn't argue.
Daniel pointed to a close by chair near his bed,Azual grabbed it & pulled it closer before sitting down & watching the nurse take care of his friend.

After awhile of taking care of the injuries all over her patient,the nurse bandaged a few places in fear they might start bleeding again at some point.
"Okay,now I've taken care of the outer injuries,I need you to lay down flat on the table so we can scan you."She spoke happily, smiling at the two boys.

Daniel nodded & scooted up the table so he could lay down,the nurse brought over a machine & hooked it up above him.This gave him a sense of insecurity as he felt like it may fall in him at any moment.

Azual noticed this & grabbed his hand,squeezing it slightly to show he was okay,the two exchanged smiles quickly.

The machine slowly went over Daniel's entire body,scanning him for any internal damages.It beeped to show it was done,the nurse walked over to the pad to see the results,she frowned deeply.

"You have multiple broken bones, some minor internal bleeding in multiple places,&..." She stopped, her eyebrows furrowing.

"What?"Azual looked at her curiously,but he was worried about what had caused her to stop.

"May...may I run another test or two on you real quick sir?Just to make sure of something?"She asked,looking down at Daniel since he was still laying on the table.

"Sure"He responded flatly,he wasn't all too concerned,I mean, how bad could it be?

The nurse ran an energy test,then a spirit test,she took some DNA to test for multiple different things, one being family.She took multiple tests hoping it was just an error in her equipment...it wasn't.Every test she took showed the same thing,he had a strange threat going throughout every part of his body.The thread had immense power,shed never seen something like this,she didn't know what to do.

"I...you're fine,it was just a fluke in my equipment,I'm sorry for making you worry"She rubbed the back of her neck,she didn't want anyone to know about this until she consoled a particular person first."Anyway,the bleeding & broken bones should heal on their own,you just have to take it easy for awhile.Also,my apologies, but visiting hours are over.You should go get some rest,you look exhausted"She looked towards Azual,he looked like he wanted to say something but sighed & nodded before getting up.

He left after saying goodbye to Daniel.

"You should rest too,I'll talk to you about your condition more in the morning."She smiled sweetly at him,he smiled back before laying down on the bed & curling into a ball.The nurse,Zale,grabbed a blanket from inside a nearby cabinet & draped it over Daniel."I didn't mean for you to just lay down & freeze to dead,silly"She chuckled softly before walking away,leaving the room.

Daniel pulled the blanket around him until he was warm & in a comfortable position,he sleepily closed his eyes & drifted off.

Zale walked quickly down the hall towards the room of a particular doctor,he had been in hell the longest,he'd hopefully know what to do about her discovery.She reached the door of her destination,she swiftly knocked, only waiting a few seconds before being told to enter.
"Mr.Kaylo?I've come to ask for your advice..."She stood in front of a tall man.

The man had messy brown hair that was sticking up in all different directions,his skin was tan,& his eyes were a chocolate brown.

"Advice on what?"He asked while smiling at her,he turned & walked over to a chair before sitting down.

"I...I found something strange inside a patient today,his entire body was filled with strange thread.It had some strange power from what I could tell,I did multiple tests to make sure my equipment wasn't faulty."She sighed,she handed him the data she collected from the tests,he looked over them carefully.

His face showed no emotion,but his mind was filled with so many that he couldn't differentiate them from one another.
"Zale..."

"Yes Sir?"

"What's the name of the person this came from?"

"Daniel,we don't know his last name yet,Julican is looking into it as we speak"She answered,he silently stared at the data,he had a bad feeling about this.
