He Was With Me.

*-* George *-*

The sun had risen. It was still freezing. I can't believe him! I can't believe he left me to sleep in without thinking of waking me.

I sprinted to the bus stop, luckily he had dropped the little one to nursery but still, he could have maybe thought of waking me!

I just about managed to squeeze into the front gates of the school, being pushed my many taller and stronger people but I didn't have time. I tried my best to Push past them and enter the prison like building. The corridors were packed and luckily no one had noticed me walk in. I mean why would they? I'm just invisible

I mean it's easier to be invisible, you don't have people constantly asking for you to hang out. You don't have to worry about how you dressed and looked. You certainly didn't have to worry about relationships and status. You could just stay in the background with a small group of friends and just stay under everyone's radar.

Or of course you could be like me, stuck with Blake and Reece, who both didn't really want to be seen with you.
But I have Brad now right?

"Hey Short stuff. Where were you yesterday." The agonisingly familiar voice boomed. I could hear their footsteps getting closer as the bit grabbed my shoulder roughly, spinning me wound to face him.

"Skiving? It doesn't seem like something you would do." He raised a brow, pinning me to the chipped wall, keeping hold of my backpack strap.

"Where were you? I missed you, I had no one to tease." The boy winked at me, his minions soon following behind him. Creating a wall and blocking me away from the rest of humanity as it felt.

I didn't say anything, I mean I didn't need to.

"He was with me." A voice mumbles, causing the larger boy to loosen his girp in shock.

"Funny joke." He spat, turning to the blonde boy who just stood there, not even flinching.

"I'm not joking, why would I?" He shrugged, facing me and smiling.

"Excuse me." the larger boy questioned, his tone becoming more angry as he looked at the smug boy.

Reece didn't say anything, he just rolled his eyes and walked towards me, ignoring the loud gasps from the large group of boys who surrounded him.

The loud sound of the bell filled the hallways but no one budged. The tension was building, making me feel extremely uncomfortable, this was exactly like one of those horror movies.

The taller boy didn't say anything, he just laughed and looked at us both.

"I'm guessing you went on a date huh? Jesus I thought you had standards."

"You can call it a date I guess." Reece smirked smugly, raising a fist to the boy and swinging it. It to no one's surprise, hit the larger boy's face with great impact as he winced.

I quickly covered my eyes, I couldn't help but tense up and cringe. This is all my fault.

A couple loud thuds were auditable before I felt a strong, caring hand grab my wrist. The person pulled me away and into a small closet to the right.

The boy closed the door and switched on the light before I finally opened my eyes, my face only inches away from Reece's.

There was thick red liquid running from his nose, a smirk on his face and slitter in his eye.

He slid down the door, sitting on the floor as I guess his head hurt, he looked extremely uncomfortable but still smiling.

"Oh my god its all my fault. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Reece let me help you!" I  panic, dropping to my knees and sitting down beside him.

"Calm down cutie don't worry." He shrugged.

"Oh no, no its my fault I-"

He shook his head.

"Shut up before I kiss you."
