"It's Homecoming week!" Jasmine giggled, looking over at Mark as he entered the school building with her. He only rolled his eyes and gave her a small shove. "Hey! Don't do that! Can you blame me for being excited? I mean, it's Homecoming week and you know that that means?" He shrugged and let out an exaggerated sigh, tugging at his backpack strap.

"A week of listening to you coo over how cute dates are?" He asked with a laugh. Jasmine let out a light hearted laugh and shook her head.

"No, stupid. The dance! It's Saturday and I cannot wait to wear my new dress!" She clapped her hands together and turned a bit as they made it down the halls. "It's pastel pink with white mesh and I'm so excited! I'm doing white makeup to go with it." He chuckled and watched her open her locker.

"Isn't white just going to wash you out? Maybe you should add some pink to it," he suggested. Jasmine gave him a playful glare, the kind of look she gave him when she didn't really want his opinion, but was going to use his advice anyway. He chuckled again and shook his head, leaning against the locked next to her as she pulled out her books and dropped her lunchbox into it.

"We have to talk about the club," She finally said with a sigh. When she turned back from her locker, she had a solemn look on her face. Mark sighed and nodded his head in response. They really did have to talk because if last night's conversations on text were indications of anything then they were going to be walking on thin ice at the meeting today. "I mean, you saw it. Anthony and Cleopatra got into a big fight and everyone was taking sides. I don't even know what it was about and neither does Monet. I asked her about it but she had missed the who conversation. Lucky her."

"Even if she hadn't, Mo wouldn't have taken any sides," Mark replied with a nod of his head. "I went to scroll up, but I didn't really see anything. It went on for that long. Whatever started it seems to be pretty serious. It's got everyone on edge and I'm not really sure what to do." Jasmine nodded her head and gestured for him to follow her to English.

"Whatever it is has got Isa and Leo on Anthony's side. Sasha, I believe, is on Cleo's side, but I think she's the only one. Kyra stayed out of it, but I don't blame her. I'd do the same." Mark nodded his head and they stopped outside of the classroom, Jasmine leaning against the wall now.

"I mean, you have English with her. Ask her if she knows what's going on. If she doesn't, we'll ask Sasha or Leo. One of them will tell us. If not, we just have to trust them to work it out on their own and hope that it doesn't ruin things too much among the group." It was Jasmine's turn to nod her head, letting out a sigh as she let her eyes fall to the floor.

"It's just... school just started. This club can't be having a fallout already, right?" Jasmine asked, looking up as bit to look him in the eyes. Mark sighed and for once, he wasn't sure what to say. Jasmine held this club near and dear to her heart. She didn't want it to fall apart so soon. He knew that more than anything else. He just reached out and pulled her into a hug.

"It'll work itself out. Don't you worry about that. Now, you don't worry too much about it. Let's just focus on the fact that it's Homecoming week and that we have to make Seb feel welcome to the club amongst the chaos that's happening. That's our job, right?" Jasmine nodded her head and pulled away from the hug. Mark gave her a smile and gestured to the classroom door. "Now, go on. We've got to get to class and I still need my books. I'll talk to you later, Missy."

"Don't get your hopes up, good sir of Blaten," Jasmine giggled. She opened the door to her classroom and gave him one last smile. "Have fun in Science, Mark." She said before entered the room. Mark waved at her until she wasn't looking at him anymore. He watched her put her things in her desk before heading over to Kyra's desk to talk to her. Then, he left. He was disappointed that he wasn't in Jasmine's homeroom this year. He really missed hearing her Morning Thoughts and couldn't help but wonder what she would be talking about today. She always appeared to have it all together. Of course, he knew she didn't ever have it all together, but she was still an icon at their school. Her Morning Thoughts made things more interesting and more real, the thing that Jasmine Ender was just naturally good at.
