"I can't lose her, Mark. I still need her!" Jasmine cried out, squeezing his shirt in her hands and hiding her face into his shoulder. Mark sighed and rubbed her back.

"I think she needed you more, Missy. I really think she needed you more."

Jasmine Ender is conflicted. Not only has she left her movie shoot early, but now her sister is in the hospital and her best friend is Monet's boyfriend and she's not sure where she stands now. Her life seems to be falling apart and she's not sure how long it'll take before the pieces are picked up again.

Mark Nijer is in shock. Just when he thought things were going well, they all seem to be falling apart again. Sure, she might have taken the cheap way out, but she didn't know what else to do. Not only is she panicked about her home life, but school and social lives aren't helping much either. She isn't sure how much more she can take.
