Time for our very first Flash Fiction!
In 1,000 words: Write about a pair of pets who plot to set all the animals free from the pet store.
Feel free to get creative! Consider different types of pets and how that might affect how their character acts – maybe a dashing unicorn? A proud turkey? A snake whose ulterior motives definitely doesn't include eating her rodent partner in crime? Who are the owners of this pet store? Are there employees on duty? Do the pets succeed?
If you can't reach 1,000 words exactly, don't stress too much – we won't count you word for word. Do try to write about 1,000 words, though!
