Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a delightful start of the year.
Sadly, we are a several tardigrades short as some have dropped out due to inability to commit their time every weekend. It has also been brought to our attention that there are some Wattpadders who have no works but would have liked to enter, and that TARDIGRADE's starting date (in November) meant those writing NaNoWriMo wouldn't have the chance to.
So, we've decided to open TDG back up for new participants. This time, for a shorter halfway-point writing contest called Sprint of the Midway! The lovely and incredible Trooper-tardigrades who have been here since November will be differentiated from new entrants, nicknamed 'Sprinters', with a few changes:
⏹️Sprinters do not have to have a story on Wattpad (PM this account if you wish to enter a work for a few comments).
⏹️Sprinters will have a 3-month-long contest from February 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020.
⏹️ Different prizes for Sprinters will apply (see Accolades chapter)!
On the other hand, some original rules still apply:
⏹️Respect fellow participants. Keep the cussing down low, and treat everyone like you'd treat your grandmother. Or, well, with kindness and clarity (so try to keep the chatspeak at bay as well).
⏹️If you change your username, please let us know. A bit self-explanatory, but as it's confusing if a user completely blooped off the Wattpad database, it would be really great if you can inform us when such changes happen. Come the start of the Sprint (February), we ask you keep these static until the event is over.
⏹️Please don't steal and/or alter any artwork or challenge work from fellow Wattpad users. We will know if you do. And we will find you.
⏹️Have fun! There will be some challenging challenges, but hopefully, there will also be ones that interest you. Maybe both! If you are ever stuck on a challenge, feel free to PM this account and ask Tardibear for inspiration - or even just an ear or two to rant to. She's always happy to help :) If you've read these rules, the passcode is your favourite colour/shade in Hex Code. Example: black would be #000000.
