Mei, Kid and I walked through the halls to the death room. An awkward silence hung in the air. "So Kid... What's Death like?"

"You will  see."

We entered the room and a really tall guy with a skull mask stood in front of a mirror. He turned around when he herd us come through the door. Two huge hands unrolled almost, from him. "Heya hiya! I'm Lord Death and Your Rin I presume?"

"Yes sir." I replied with a strait face.

"Oh drop the formalities! Just call me Lord Death!"

I nodded and let him keep talking. "I am sending you to Greece to hunt a powerful and dangerous Kishin. Your going on this mission as a placement test. If you pass you are going to be in class Crescent Moon with Kid and his friends. So get ready to go and leave as soon as you can!"

I glared at him when he stopped talking and I could tell he was frowning under his mask. Mei and I walking out of the room and down the long hallway. Kid said he had to stay back and talk to his father about something. I grimaced at the thought of going all the way to Greece. However I could easily slip away from the grasp of Lord Death and fake my death. I simply hate that shinigami. We have had some.... bad history. Mei looked over at me seemingly reading my thoughts, she said, 'Rin. I know you hate him but is this really the right thing to do?'

I sighed and nodded. "We better go pack, eh?" She didn't answer me as she padded along.

We soon got back to our apartment and I went strait to the kitchen to make a bagel. "Bagel bagel bagel!" I chanted. Trotting over to the fridge happily, I got a small piece of chicken for Mei, and cream cheese. Paws thundered through the house and i knew she smelt it. Turning around, I threw the piece of chicken behind me and I heard a mouth grab it and start to chew it. I smiled and finished making my bagel. I considered going to pack before eating it to speed up the process, but eh, why  would I waist a perfectly warm bagel on going up to pack. After all it is the food of the gods.  Anyways after I was done with my delicious bagel, I trudged up the stairs to pack pretty much all of my things, because I did not plan on coming back.

~TIMESKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY RIN'S DELICIOUS BAGELS~

I stared into the mirror and i stared back. My gaze dropped to the huge, nerdy glasses sitting on the counter. Nostalgia filled my head but I shook the thoughts of my past out of my brain. I grabbed them, put them in their case and snapped it shut.

After I finished packing all of my shit, I ran down the dangerous stairs to see Mei waiting for me patiently at the bottom of the stairs. I patted her head and smiled at her. She would be smiling back if she was human. That's how things used to work.

Looking around, I tried to remember everything that I need. My breath stopped coming as I remembered something that I did not pack. Cheeeeeeesecccccaaaaaaakkee I'm coming for yoooouuuuu

I ran to the kitchen and opened the fridge and sized up the desert of the gods. 'Rin. We cant take it.'

"Why noooot?" I whined.

'Because.'

"But but but-"

'we can't okay? Now quite whining!'

"Fine." I pouted.

She walked away, with her head held high. Looking back at the open refrigerator, I smirked. Cheesecake~ My hand reached towards a strawberry one and- 'RIN! WHERE LEAVING' She cut me off.

Cue the tears.

~ONE MOAR TIMESKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE~

We rived in Greece a few hours later. Alright. No going back now. 'Are you sure about this?'

'Yes.'

She looked at me nodded. Time to hunt down this stupid kishin.

So the pic on the side is a quick sketch of Rin and Mei. I cannot draw dogs or wolves. Bruh. Anyways, this chapter is crappy. Tell me in the comments if you want me to continue with the drawings on the side. Honestly I have  no idea what they are doing......
