Trapped with my Badass Neighbour

1. New Year...

~ This is what I pictured Destiny Strider to look like. This is just my opinion, so if you think otherwise than that's fine :) Anyways I hope you enjoy the first chapter!! ~

I woke up on Sunday to the sound of a very noisy truck by the sounds of it, coming from outside my window. "Aaagghh!! Shut the fuck up!" I yelled out, then squishing my face into my pillow. I wasn't really sure if yelling out would've done much... But it was worth a try.

After about 5 minutes of questioning on whether I should actually get up, or laze in my bed...? My bed sounded good, but I decided against it because I just knew that bloody sound would keep me awake!
I climbed out of my comfy, warm bed and placed my feet onto the cold wooden floor boards. I quickly lifted my feet from the ground like it was lava. I looked at my feet realising I had only one sock on, in which at this point was halfway off my foot.

I looked around my bed in search for my other sock. I really had no clue what so ever that I can go to bed in socks and every morning successfully wake up with one or none.

Once I found the stupid sock I left the comfort of my bed and walked to my bathroom. We all got our own bathrooms because the house was big enough, considering it was just my parents Mark and Jane, my sister Nora, then there was me so... Really we had way more room then we needed.

As I walked past my window I noticed what the noise was, it was indeed a moving truck. That meant that someone has bought that beautiful house next door, that my mum has loved ever since we moved here. The house has been on sale for at least a year, so we already knew that we were going to soon get new neighbours, great... Let's hope their nice.

As I stared out the window for a bit longer I noticed a small black car that just pulled up on the drive way. I really hope they have a daughter that I could chill with. I mean that's every girls dream to have a best friend that lives next door!

The driver's door, and the passenger's door opened roughly at the same time. Out walked a tall tanned man and women who both looked like they were in their early 40's. The man had dark brown hair and had a fairly muscular figure. whereas the women had straight light brown hair. She opened up the back door and then walked inside with the man. 

Moment of truth, who will appear through that door? I stood there for about a minute, and just as I was about to leave giving up on waiting, out stepped a tall boy he looked to be at least 18. He had dark brown hair like his fathers, his hair was pushed upwards, as he threaded his fingers through it (am I drooling?? Destiny snap out of it!). His skin was also quite tanned, I wonder where they came from? He had very definite cheek bones, and a chiseled jaw. He was wearing a plain white tank top that hugged his torso and really showed off his biceps. It looked like he had a few tattoos, a lip piecing and I think an eyebrow piecing. Damn he looks so fucking hot!!

My new hot neighbour leaned into his car and pulled out his bag. As he turned around we both got court in a deep gaze into each other's eyes, then all of a sudden we both just snapped out of it at the same time. Both of us went a little red, he shut the door and walked inside, just as I moved from the window and placed my head on the cream wall next to my window. Man that was so embarrassing.

I decided to go with a long hot shower. I stuck my phone into my dock and cranked up my music as load as possible!! I think I've been in here for at least 10 minutes now... I mean I really don't give a shit anyway, I can shower as long as I want. I don't know what I've been doing the whole time actually. Suddenly I heard a loud knock on the door, they were obviously trying to get my attention over the shower, and my blaring music. Which might I add was on the best part so I was a tad pissed, but I just pushed that thought away and concentrated on what they wanted.

"Destiny, dear you've been in there for a while now..." My mother said with a calm, yet stern voice. "Yeah I know mum I will be out in a minute... I was just a bit tired that's all. So I took a bit longer than usual. Sorry mum." "Destiny, please don't tell me you've been up all night again? No wonder you're so tired. Well hurry out of the shower and come down for breakfast." I sighed, as I turned off the water and said, "Sure mum be down in a minute!"

As I stepped into my denim ripped short shorts, a black tank top, with a white cross on it and my black converse. I pulled my hair into a semi high ponytail, and exited the room. Making sure to lock the door behind me. (Don't judge my privacy!!) It was one of my favourite presents from my parents.

As I walked across the hallway towards the kitchen I could see my dad at the table with a coffee in hand smiling at me. "Morning my princess!" "Morning dad" I leaned into him and kissed his cheek. I turned to sit on a stool next to my dad. As my mum past me a plate with toast on it, covered with butter and minimal Vegemite.

Once I finished my toast I placed my plate into the dishwasher, I walked towards the hallway and asked, "hey mum and dad I'm gonna go out and skate so it's 9:00, I will be back by at least 10:00-11:00 is that alright?" I asked as politely as possible. "Sure darling of course you can, just be careful and call me if an issue arises" "sure mum thanks, bye mum" I kissed her cheek, "bye dad" I kissed his cheek.

Walking towards the door with my favourite board in hand I stepped out of the house, chucked the skateboard on the floor and started to skate down our driveway. 

To the skate park I have to skate pasted the neighbour's home, and just as I was about to cross passed their driveway... I was bashed into and fell onto the floor scrapping my arm and knee, "OUCH!! Bloody bastard watch where you go-" I cut myself of as I looked up and noticed who crashed into me... Of course the bloody fucking sex god neighbour! 

He reached out his masculine, rough and veiny hand towards me, pulling me up from the ground "Oh my god! I'm so so sorry I didn't mean to crash into you! Are you alright? Ahh that looks kinda sore..." As I looked down at my knee which was dirty and bleeding I spoke up, "Um yeah it does a bit... I'm sorry for yelling at you... And calling you a bloody bastard that wasn't very nice" "Nah its okay, it was mainly my fault anyways. Hey aren't you my new neighbour??" He asked gazing curiously and with concern in his eyes, I answered nervously (since when do I get nervous??? Agh this boy is really dragging me in) "Yeah I'm your neighbour... We kinda had a bit if an awkward staring thing going on, I was just looking over to see what my new neighbours looked like, sorry if I came off as a bit creepy" I laughed out. \

Holy shit what is wrong with me!? Why am I even saying all of this crap for? The boy looked at me and smiled one hell of a smile then said "Well what name do I call such a beautiful figure?" "Destiny Strider, and you are?" Bravo Destiny at least you can form somewhat of a sentence. "Destiny... Hmm that's a really pretty name, it suits you well. I'm Matthew Lace at your service" 

Matthew, Matthew, Matthew... What a perfect fucking name for him. The feels I'm getting right now.

"Hey Destiny did you want to come inside and get that cleaned up before it gets infected? Maybe we can talk and get to know each other a bit..." "Sure, thanks." As we walked along the drive way I noticed that their black car was gone... "Oh and Des..." "Yeah?" "My parents just left for the shop to get a hell of a lot of crap for the house so we'll have the house to ourselves for a little bit" Matt gave me a smirk and winked at me. What did he just wink at...? Me? "Don't worry about it Matt, really it's fine let's just go inside" I said with a smile on my face. "You called me Matt..." "Oh I'm sorry I just thought tha-" " Nah it's okay, it's just that it's been a while since anyone has called me that, and I like it." He looked into my eyes with a smile plastered on his face then grabbed my hand and pulled me into his house.
