Dangerous Party

Kris' POV

Kris woke up later that afternoon to his phone ringing as Susie was calling him. He rolled out of bed and picked up his phone to answer her call.

Kris: "Hey, babe. What's up?" As he yawned loud enough for Susie to hear it.

Susie: "Seriously? You're really calling me that? I guess I'll allow it, 'baby'. Anyways, I'm almost ready to head to Noelle's. Her party starts in the next hour so I'll see ya there. Love you!"

Kris said love you back and they both hung up. He went over to his closet and grabbed a jacket and headed to the kitchen to eat lunch with his mother. "How long will you and Susie be at Noelle's today?" Toriel asked him while putting the food on the table. "Oh she didn't say how long it would be. I can text her real quick about it." He started eating his spaghetti slowly and texted Noelle about it. She texted him back a few minutes later with the details.

Noelle: "Oh I'm sorry! I forgot to mention that, didn't I? The party will be all day and there will be a sleepover for all who want to stay the night. You and Susie are welcome to stay over if you two are up for it!"

Kris: "Thanks. Mom was asking how long it would be. Appreciate it Noelle."

Kris relayed the message to his mother after reading the message. She smiled and gave him permission to stay the night. Kris forwarded the message to Susie to see if she was up for it and she replied saying she was up for it now that her dad is more mobile now, only needing to use one crutch. He returned to eating his food with his mother after putting his phone in his jacket pocket. He helped his mom with dishes and dried them off for her. He hugged her tightly and told her he'll call her when he gets to Noelle's house.

Susie's POV

Susie was waiting outside the gate to Noelle's leaning against a tree while eating some fries she got from QC's that afternoon. She had texted Kris when he was showing up but he didn't respond. A few minutes later he snuck up on her and poked her shoulder and. She looked to the left and saw no one there. Kris called her from the other side and she jumped back and yelled. "Kris what the hell?! Trying to give your girlfriend a heart attack or something?" Kris was laughing and hugged her. "I finally got you! I knew you weren't that hard to scare." She ruffled his hair and nudged his head with her arm. "You just got lucky that's all. I was distracted." Kris rolled his eyes "Oh sure that's what it was. Anyways lets head on in shall we?" She held his hand as they went to the main gate to put the access code in to get into the house.

Noelle's house was amazing to look at. It looked to be about three stories high. "For such a small family why do they need such a huge house? You could play hide & seek here for hours on end and still be lucky to be the last one found!" Kris said out loud. Susie chuckled a bit at his statement and nudged him towards the house "Come on, dork. Let's go see who all has made it here." Kris walked them up and she knocked heavily on the door. They could faintly hear the sound of rushed footsteps running to the open the front door and saw Noelle dressed in a casual skirt and short sleeve shirt. "Oh hey you two got here quick! You're the first to arrive this early. Well no matter about that. I got some snacks ready in the kitchen upstairs so feel free to get yourselves comfortable!" She closed the door after they entered and ran over to the foyer and opened a door to an indoors heated pool. "I don't know if you brought a spare of clothes but I got a pool inside so we can swim and not worry about freezing." Luckily they did bring extra clothes. "Well we did come prepared with a change but we didn't think to bring swim wear. We can work around it though!" Kris replied. Susie shrugged off her coat revealing her dark gray undershirt and headed for the kitchen as Kris went with her.
