Vivian

What did she just say?

No... no... this cannot be happening. I must be having a wrong class schedule-- Yeah, I must have had my schedule swapped because the last time I checked, my schedule said I have Health! This has to be some bullshit! Most likely a nightmare as well!

"Vivian McKeaver."

I'm doomed!

I can't believe this is happening to me! On the first day of school as a junior, I'm assigned in a class where several of my classmates of this year can't keep their noses in their books because of the rage of their hormones! And now, I'm sitting in my seat around the same a couple of my classmates are turning their heads at my direction.

"Here."

As soon as I respond and raise my hand, I can hear a couple of my classmates murmuring as they're bowled over the fact that I, Vivian Anne McKeaver, one of the McKeaver triplets, am enrolled in this class. Recalling one time when my sisters and I were preteens, our former teachers wanted the three of us to take Sex Ed, but our dad refused for whatever reason, I really don't know. Our mom did give me, Carolyn, and Diane information about changes that our bodies would go through just two weeks after the three of us turned nine. Like, breast development as well as the hair growing on our legs, arms,  and the private region down below. Our mom even discussed us about having wider hips along with the slim waist and vaginal discharge. As soon as my journey to womanhood commenced at the age of eleven, our mom gave me a book for me to share with Diane and Carolyn when their lady time approached anytime soon that discussed about puberty.

Soon after Mrs. Cruz finishes calling the other students' names, she begins the lesson for today. "What we can do today is we will go through the rules I have set for this classroom to all students at all times. Everyone in this classroom has the right to her/his own beliefs and opinions. I acknowledge we have a wide variety of religion and we all have opinions that some of us don't agree with, however; it is all right. There are no right or wrong answers in the opinions of others. Every student in here has the right to be heard. Its okay for those who are timid or forthcoming to speak their voices. We must treat one another with respect because if you don't, how could they respect you in return? In society, respect is highly important because it helps us to be safe and respect ourselves. And I will discuss about respect in our next lesson. We will only use anatomically correct terms for body parts  and sexual activities. Nobody is going to say 'pee-hee-hee' or 'pee-pee' for a male's genitals."

Some of the class titters. I roll my eyes at the immature classmates who guffaw, snicker, and even titter at the alternative words. Sheesh, throw some fertilizer at people that need to grow the hell up!

"Do not use reference a female's genitals as the 'hoo-haa' or the 'pink taco.'" Pink taco? Pink taco?! What idiot calls the vagina a fricking pink taco?! Whoever came up with that term is a dumb-as-hell jackass because I have never heard of that shit before in my life! Mrs. Cruz continues on not referencing a woman's vagina as p -dash-dash-dash-dash word  as well as calling our boobs 'blorps'. That sounds like an alien related thing!

"We will not make fun of our peers. We will not name-call or put people down. And we will not ask personal questions during our discussions. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Mrs. Cruz!" We concur in unison. She gives us a firm, but a benign smile. "It is perfectly normal to feel embarrassed when it comes to the subject of sex and I'll write the three questions on the chalkboard." Mrs. Cruz turns around to pick up a chalk from the chalkboard holder to write the questions on the board; What does the word 'sex' really mean? Are there different meanings for the word? Why do we feel uncomfortable talking about sex?  Why do students laugh when they are asked to talk about sexuality?
