The Project • Matsukaze Tenma x Reader

Tenma's POV

It was a Monday, so the first class I has was English.

I arrived at class and took my seat. Strangely, (Y/n) isn't here yet. Maybe she's ill?

Just then, the door slammed open, and in came a tired out (Y/n). "Sorry... I'm late... Had to... Walk... Dogs." she huffed, before siting into her seat. I'm glad she's okay.

"Okay class, today we're going to group you into two and we well be working on a project this week. You will work in pairs to create a creative story board for a story idea. This project will take until next Monday. I expect it to be done by then.

The partners are as follows:(Y/n) and Tenma, Shindou and Kirino, Aoi and Shinsuke. Etc..." The teacher disscused with us.

"What. I'm working with (Y/n)? Yes! Oh, here she comes." I uttered.

(Y/n)'s POV

So, I'm working with Tenma huh? Well, at least I'm not working with a stranger but I would prefer Shinsuke or Aoi than my crush.

He sits behind me, so I turned around and started talking.

"So, we're working together?" Tenma smiled.

"Yeah, if that's okay with you." I stated.

"That's fine. Wanna come work on it at my place tonight? My parents are away for a few weeks, so I have the place to myself."
I stated.

"Sure. What time?"  He asked.

"How about 4:30? School finishes at 3:30, so that leaves enough time to get changed and whatever." He replied.

"Sure!" I smiled.

He went back to his seat and listen to the matrix of the project.

Tenma's POV

I was on my way to (Y/n)'s house. I felt really nervous.

"Relax, you can't screw anything up, you'll be fine"I reassured myself.

I'd arrived at her house by this point, so I knocked on the door.

*Knock*

The door opened, revealing (Y/n) in a cute blue hoodie and ripped jeans. She laughed at my slightly silly expression, and pulled me inside, dragging me by the hand to her room.

"What's the matter, didn't think I had normal clothes. I don't exactly live in my uniform you know." She sat down at her desk and turned to face me.

"I have a few story ideas, but I wanna hear yours first." She stated.

"You're so considerate." I replied.

"Thanks." She praised.

"How about love story?" I suggested.

"That's one of my ideas." She said. " How about writing a story about two friends that loved each other but they can't confess to each other?"

When I heard her suggestion, I blushed a bit.

"T-that sounds good to me." I praised. "You're really smart."

"Thank you." She replied.

"How about I write the basic storyline and you can work on the scenes? I'm not that good at art, or I'd do it." I said.

We agreed on that, and for the next couple of hours we worked together and completed it.

"It's already 7:30? Do you want anything to eat? I can make you something." She offered.

"You don't have to. I'm fine." I said, but at that moment, my stomach growled, and I went red.

"I'll take that as a 'I'm starving', so I'll make something. Do you like steak with rice and tea?" She asked. I just nodded, still bright red.

"Don't be embarrassed, you're just hungry. Nothing wrong with that." She said ruffling my hair.

"Here." She offered and I took out the steak and the tea.

"Let's eat." She said as I ate my steak.

She really looks cute. As I opened my mouth, she give a cupcake.

"Do you want cupcake?" She asked.

"I-I would love to eat your cupcake." I uttered. I ate the cupcake and I felt that there's cream left in my mouth. Y/n took a  handkerchief and wiped the left cream in my mouth.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome!" She said.

"Actually I have something to tell you." I stated. "I really like you since when we first talked."

Y/n wore a surprised expression and embraced me.

"I also like you Matsukaze Tenma!" She replied as she smiled.

"So the story is just like us?" She stated.

"Yes. No matter what, always remember that I like you, okay?"

"Okay, I'll promise."

Kanna: Because I want.

Kariya: Can you write another RanTaku story?

Kanna: Of course---

Kirino: Shut up Kariya. Don't ever say that combined name of me and Shindou.

Shindou: .....
