Chapter 87 Home Sweet Home

Prince's POV

Friday morning the 4 were in high spirits when they reported to The Stork for their make-up call. It was the last day of filming and they were very excited. Next week they would be back in LA, view the rushes and begin to plan the Premiers in both LA and Detroit. They would be flying back to their current home on Monday afternoon, however, tonight their minds and hearts would be on the future as they would be flying by aircar to Chicago with their mission being to see homes in the area where they would begin their married lives. In a perfect world, they would find and secure homes on Saturday, return to Detroit on Saturday night rest and pack for the trip back to LA early Sunday morning. Prince and Carlos were looking forward to seeing their parents as while they had chatted by phone as often as they could while filming, they had not seen their folks much due to the grueling scheduling. The girls were looking forward to the visit, albeit short, as they wanted to bring their future mothers-in-law up to speed on the wedding plans. Savannah and Nita were looking forward to hearing every new detail too.

They were preparing to shoot the last few scenes that had to do with Bella's last few hours of pregnancy and labor and the emotional ending to the film, with Bella in bed in their new home holding a 6 day old Amiir in her arms. Prince serenaded the two of them with the song, 4 The Tears in Your Eyes. Anthony set up the scene and Bella entered their bedroom wearing the belly prosthetic that made her look 9 months pregnant. She walked with the pregnancy waddle that Prince thought was really cute as well as very realistic. Carlos and Prince had teased her about it incessantly. As Prince watched her he was struck by how beautiful she looked with her long hair parted in the middle and streaming down her back. She looked like a goddess of motherhood. As he watched her, his dick began to harden and he could not wait until this day was over and he could get her alone. Something about seeing her like this made him horny as hell. Thank God he had a few minutes to get himself together. He began to envision himself naked in a snowdrift. As he did his huge member began to soften. He really did not want to try to do a scene about his wife going into labor with a hardened dick. Geez...In the film Bella's water broke and she called out to him in an urgent voice. He ran into the room and as the dialogue said, he offered words of comfort while he dried her off and got her some dry stretchy pants to put on. He called their doctor to say they were on the way to the hospital and called security to take them. In the story line it was spring and so they put on light jackets, grabbed Bella's hospital bag and headed to the aircar for the short trip to the hospital. Cut/Print they heard and then they had a 10 minute break before the final scene. The actual birthing scene had already been filmed in LA. At 4:10 PM they began filming the final scene. Bella was reclined on a bed, holding their new baby boy. Prince entered the room, looked at them both lovingly and filled with emotion and with happy tears in his eyes, he began to play the acoustic guitar and to sing for 4 The Tears In Your Eyes. As he neared the end, credits would begin to roll and would continue against a backdrop of a mix of songs from the film. Cut/Print Anthony shouted and suddenly there was applause throughout the room. As the house lights came up, the cast saw Bella and Elaine's parents, the staff of The Stork Club, Bella's photographer friend Alan, who had memorialized this historic day in color stills shot throughout the day and those that were in the bridal party that were local. The applause was deafening. They had liked what they saw and the cast really appreciated it. Anthony had some champagne on hand to toast the completion of the project as well as their amazing work and performances. Once everyone had a glass in their hand, he said, "Prince, Bella, Carlos and Elaine, today you have completed your part of the work on a film that is going to change how the world sees you and your band Prince. It is also going to change the nature of the music film genre. Mark my words, this is going to be a monster of a film. Congratulations on a groundbreaking piece of work! Be safe tonight in your travels, and I will see you back in Los Angeles". He moved toward the four and pulled them into a group hug. Prince then asked all of the band and others that wished to, join the 4 of them in prayer. They held hands and thanked the Lord for the successful completion of the work and asked that they all get some rest before heading back to LA on Monday. They prayed for safe travel to their destinations this evening and back to LA on Monday and thanked those that had come out to support them today. Prince then thanked every band member for their dedication and hard work. He said he would see them on the flight on Monday afternoon. The band moved toward the 4 and another group hug took place. The cast then went and showered and changed and then Prince, Carlos, the band and their security team put the instruments into the travel bus they had rented for their time in Detroit. They would be on the plane with them when they returned to LA. Prince and Bella, Carlos and Elaine would eat a meal together at The Stork, that Andy and Antonio had planned and then they would take off for Chicago. Bella asked the bridal party members to join them, along with Alan who wanted to show them the proofs of the pictures he had taken periodically throughout filming. He had all of them with him, he said, except the ones shot today. Prince also invited the band and Anthony and the filming crew. He checked with Antonio before he did to make certain that enough food had been prepared. He knew before he asked though, that it had been. They sat down to eat together and enjoyed each other's company. Prince and Carlos stepped away to call their parents and tell them they would probably arrive an hour or so later this evening due to being feted by Andy and Antonio. Dinner was wonderful and there were hugs all around as the 4 prepared to leave. Their overnight bags were in the SUV and they bundled up and headed to the vehicle under the watchful eye of their security team. Once they were all inside with their seat belts fastened, Frank who was driving maneuvered the vehicle out of the garage onto the road and then took to the air immediately.
