Person 1 POV
Riding my bike -- a race against time.
Down the bumpy stairs, making no mistakes. Taking a shortcut, I ride to the street. Speeding down through the heavy traffic. My goal is to get to my destination but I have yet to reach it.My eyes focused on the cars in front of me. Horns honking cause im going around and cutting in front. Red light ahead and the sidewalks are crowded with humans.
I make a sharp turn while cars were coming my way. I race around them only to meet a semi truck. Out of fear I swerve to the side and avoided the hit. I still ended up on the ground. Now staring at the most beautiful thing I seen all day.
Person 2 POV
Running down the street -- wind blowing through my hair. Im competing against myself, running and jumping as fast as I can. Many people in front of me on the sidewalk -- walking, talking, and some drinking.I jump over the table where two people was sitting and talking, disturbing their peace. A bike rail ahead of me and I run full speed. My two hands grab it and I toss myself over, landing perfectly.
People moving out the way clearing my path. I see a truck in the street turning blocking my way. I jump on the back of the truck then jump off. My perfect landing ended up being a perfect mess. I landed on a girl who was riding a bike. Our eyes locked. She smiled.
Heart racing from the little space between us. Breath taking this girl was, but I had to go.
I hurried and got up, brushing the dirt off. I helped her up. Her bike was broken - the wheel out of place and chain hanging. I didn't speak a word. I continued running.
Both 1 and 2 POV :
"I have to see her again."
Person 2 POV
"I'll get her a new bike."
