The Magic Within (Elsa x Female Reader)

Reindeers and Chaos

Elsa POV:

After a long day of keeping check of the Enchanted Forest, I made my way back to the Northuldra village. Right now there was only one person I wanted to see and that was Y/N L/N. I found her helping Honeymaren and Ryder with the reindeer. I walked over to them and asked, "You guys need any help?" Both Honeymaren and Ryder said they were okay, then we turned to y/n. She on the other hand, seemed to be struggling with the baby reindeer. "I think y/n could use some help though." Honeymaren said smiling at me. She is the only one who knows that I like y/n as more than just a friend. 

I walk over to y/n and laugh at her as she tried to stop the calf escaping and she fell on the ground in the process. "Get back here Blizzard!" She yelled and the calf ran away from her. I quickly realised the calf was headed in my direction so, I got in front of the calf and was able to catch him. "You're a troublesome one aren't you?" I said to Blizzard with a slight laugh and handed him back to y/n as soon as she stood up. "Thanks, you're a life saver. This little guy on the other hand has been a nightmare to take care of." She said whilst holding him. "Sure no problem. Glad I could help." She smiled at me and walked off talking the calf in a baby voice, "I just can't stay mad at you, you're too cute." Again I laughed at this. 

Honeymaren suddenly appeared next to me laughing at the scene. "And that's why she takes care of the calves." She said. I nodded in agreement. "Have you told her yet?" She then asked me. "Err, no not yet.  I'm still figuring out how and if I will." I told her. "What do you mean if?" She asked me. "I mean, I don't know if I'll be able to tell her." "Well, I think you should. Otherwise you will never know the outcome." With that she went back to taking care of the other reindeer leaving me to ponder what she just said. She's right, I'll never know the outcome if I never tell her. I must admit though, when I realised I liked her as more than just a friend, I did not know how to handle it at all. So, I go to the only other person I completely trusted as well as my sister, Honeymaren but even Anna doesn't know. At least not yet. 

I stood watching y/n whilst thinking about how I'm to approach the topic to her. All of a sudden, I get an idea. I'm visiting the trolls to keep them updated on things and I can bring y/n along. It'll allow me to spend time with her alone and figure out along the way how I am to tell her how I fell about her. I walk back over to y/n and ask, "Hey y/n, I'm visiting Grand Pabbie and the rest of the trolls but it takes a day or two to get there. Would you be interested in coming along?" "I'd love to but what about these little guys?" She asked. "I'll talk to Honeymaren and Ryder, see if they or someone else can take care of them for you." She nodded and said, "Okay but only if you can find someone to take my place for a few days." I then go and find Honeymaren and Ryder in the main paddock. 

When I find them, they both greeted me. Honeymaren came over to me whilst Ryder continued looking after the animals. "So, any news?" She asked hopefully. "Well, I asked her to come with me to visit the trolls. I guess it's a start." Honeymaren smiled at me, "Yes it is. I'm guessing you want to tell her when you are alone with her, away from the village?" I nodded and said, "Yes, I just figured it'd be easier that way." Honeymaren seemed to understand what I was saying. "Oh one more thing, y/n said she'd only agree to go if someone was able to take her place for a few days." I told her. She said to me, "I can put Ryder in charge of them, I'm sure he wouldn't mind. When do you plan on leaving?" "As soon as possible." I told her. 

With that I shout y/n over to tell her someone will be looking after the young reindeer. "When do we leave?" y/n asked. "Right now." I said and used my powers to create a horse made of ice. "Y/n, you can take Peppermint. He's the best reindeer for a long journey." "Thanks Honeymaren." Y/n mounted on Peppermint and me on my ice horse. "Alright then, let's head to the Valley of the Living Rock."
