The Hidden... pt 3

I rested my head on his chest, desperately trying to find a heartbeat, but none came.

I sat down, next to his body, and put my head in my hands.

He's dead.

I know he will respawn in the next round, along with everybody else, but I wanted to stay with him, I felt safe around him.

And now, I just feel alone...

I closed his lifeless eyes, and stood up, trying my hardest to be brave, but failing.

2 down, 3 to go

I sat down in the corner of the room, and put my gun on my knees.

I put my head in my hands, and start to cry, I felt genuinely weak.

Seananners and Sark had left the room, leaving me alone.

I kept crying, until I was interrupted with the sound of heavy breathing coming from right in front of me.

I moved my hands away, and looked up, to be faced with The Hidden, I could hardly see him, but I knew he was there.

I didn't scream, I didn't try to struggle, this time, I picked up the gun, and I shot him, right in the face.

The creature screamed, and became visible, he fell to the floor, lifeless, right next to Jordan.

Adam and Sark ran in, pointing their guns around, but quickly lowered them when they saw him.

"I did it" I muttered, surrounded with myself, why was it so easy? It was so fast.

"Yeah, you did, well done." Sark replied, patting me on the back.

I stood up, and watched as Jordan's body dematerialised, and flew away.

The particles flew to the middle of the room, and made a figure.

Jordan!

He opened his eyes and skilled at me, I ran up to him and hugged him, tighter than ever before.

"I have to go, I will get taken to my next game." I murmured.

We pulled away, and Jordan nodded, understanding fully.

"Then go, win. I know you can, and don't forget that note."

I smiled and patted my pocket, letting him know it was safe and sound.

I closed my eyes and let myself be whisked away, ready for the final game I will be playing.
