Is this the end?

I opened my eyes, it was dark, and all I could hear was my uneven breathing.

Wait...breathing?

Am I not dead? I clearly died.

I stand up, trying to find any source of light anywhere. I spin around, but I saw nothing.

I slump back to the floor, confused.

What if I am dead? And this is limbo? That's the only thing that makes sense at the moment.

I jump at the booming voice, I feel the floor vibrating under my feet as he talks.

I BET YOU ARE WONDERING. WHY AREN'T YOU DEAD? WELL, I KEPT YOU ALIVE.

Why would he keep me alive? Don't I die for real if I die in the game?

ANYWAY, I'M HERE TO GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE. YOU HAVE IMPRESSED ME, YOUR PERFORMANCE IN THE PREVIOUS GAMES HAVE BEEN EXCEPTIONAL. THEREFORE, YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO COMPLETE THESE GAMES.

I was taken back by these statements. I... I haven't lost, I get another chance.

I opened my eyes once again, I was standing in the middle of another cell.

Seto, Deadlox and Sky were all in here, all looking relieved.

"You scared us, you didn't respawn for ages... and the message didn't show up saying you had logged out."

I nodded and have them a confused look, pretending I didn't have a clue what they were on about.

Bodil headed back over to us, and when his eyes fell on me, his eyes glimpsed the feeling of being guilty.

"Okay guys, this time I'm not going to kill you if you haven't done anything wrong. But believe me, if I catch you trying to escape, you're done for."

We all nodded, and I sighed in relief.

I was given another chance. Maybe I can win this.
