Chapter 24

"I have an announcement," Liam said at breakfast. "Kara and I are dating again." He smiled like he was the happiest man in the world. Kara smirked at me. Everyone else stared at him in shock.

I feel like my heart has just been smashed into nothing. It was bad enough he cheated on me. Now, he doesn't feel guilty at all, and it's only been a few days. The worst, he's dating the girl he cheated on me with. I stood up on the verge of tears. "Excuse me," I whispered shakily before walking out.

I sat in one of the hallways crying my eyes out. "Hey. You there." I looked up. Niall. "Didn't I tell you not to cry when I'm not around?"

I wiped my eyes. "Sorry," I muttered. He sat down next to me.

"Forget about him."

"He cheated on me only a few days ago. I think I'm gonna need a little more time. And, if he keeps cutting me before I heal, how can I stop hurting?" I asked.

"Me and the boys are here for you. Think of us as your band aids. Stick us on before you get infected," he smiled. I laughed.

"Thanks Niall."

Niall's POV

Louis told me that she's not taking the deal. I need a plan to make her go. I think I know how.

Can you really do it? Even if it means breaking her heart?

Look at how broken she is right now. If you hurt her right now, you can lose her forever.

No. I can't be selfish again, she may never get this chance again.

I knew what I had to do. I had to break her.

"This is an amazing chance for her. But she's not gonna go unless we force her. And the way we can do that is to break her. Right now the touchiest thing for her is the Liam situation, and she's leaning on us. If we side with Liam, she'll have nowhere to go but to the management. All of you side with Liam, I can't do that, I'm still too angry at him. I'll have my own role to play, got it?"

"Are you fucking crazy?" Zayn exclaimed.

"Pretty much."

"You know if you do this, you could lose her forever,"Louis said quietly. The entire room was silent. I nodded.

"She has to go though. She's always wanted to be a singer. I have to let her go for this."

"She said it was because of her mum though," Harry told us.

"Her mum is reasonable. If there were enough reasons for Kyna to leave, and she told her mum, her mum would understand completely."

Zayn let out a small laugh-huff thing. "You really love her, don't you?"

I nodded softly. "I've fancied her ouse by Ed Sheeransince we were friends back when we were young."

"That's a long time, mate," Harry said in amazement. I chuckled.

"I know. I lost her once. Now, I'm about to lose her again. But, as the saying goes, if you love something let it go, and if they don't come back, it wasn't yours to keep in the first place."

"I really hope she comes back for you buddy," Louis said, patting me on the back.

"Thanks. So, everyone got the plan?" They nodded sadly.

"Operation break Kyna so she can live her dream, begins now," I said.

Please, please, don't let this plan make me lose her forever, I thought as the boys started leaving.
