I woke up the next morning tuked in my bed. A wave of grief hit me as I remembered last night. Wait, how was I in bed? I walked groggily to my mum's bedroom. Her body wasn't there. Wait, WHAT. That woke me up like snap. I mean, first, there has to be someone in the house. Second, WHAT KIND OF SICKO STEALS A DEAD BODY FOR FUCKS SAKE?
"Oh, you're awake," a voice said from behind. I whirled around, and was about to karate chop the living daylights out of the person's face before I realized it was my Luke (my fiancee).
"Holy shit, you scared the living daylights out of me. Where's my mum's body?"
"I already took her body to the people," he said.
"And who said you could do that?" I asked.
"I wanted to take care of everything for you. I know it's hard."
"Thanks," I muttered.
"Come here," he said, opening his arms to hug me. I gently shook my head. A frown crossed his features. "Why?"
I need to do it. It's now or never.
"I'm so sorry, Luke. I can't do this anymore."
He sighed, "I knew this was coming."
"What?"
"I saw the look both you and Niall had that day at the hospital. And besides, it was kind of obvious you didn't love me. I just didn't know why you were staying with me until the hospital. I knew this was coming since then. It would've been easier just to let you go before, but I loved you too much to do so."
"Oh god, Luke, I am so sorry. You deserve so much better than me. You're such an amazing person. I tried so hard to love you, but in the end, you don't choose who you love. Life would be easier if you could," I sighed.
"But then what's the fun? The reason love is so amazing is because you never know what happens."
I rolled my eyes, "Tell that to my fucked up life."
"You'll see someday."
"Whatever. And you don't seem very heartbroken, should I be offended?"
"Nah, I've just been prepared for a really long time."
"Oh," I said tiredly. By that time, all my adrenaline had run out from the thought that a stranger was in my house, and fatigue and grief overwhelmed me once again. He seemed to notice.
"Why don't you go back to bed?" I nodded, before going off to bed again.
3 weeks later *After the funeral*
It was raining as I walked out of the cemetery to my car. I was about to get in but was stopped by my dad.
"I heard you broke up with Luke," he said.
"Dad, can we not talk about that now?" My relationship with my dad had basically gone down the toilet since my mum's cancer came back.
"No. Do you know how hard I worked to set you up with him? I am running a failing business, marrying him would mean my company is saved. Do you know what you just did to my company?"
"Is that all you care about?' I asked in a hushed tone. "We are at mum's funeral, and all you care about is your business?"
"Sweetie, you know that's not true," he said desperately.
"No, dad, it's exactly on par. You may not intend for it to be true, you probably don't even realize, but your family has become second in line to your company."
"Of course it hasn't!"
"You didn't visit mum so many times because you were working. She was sick and dying! And you ignored her for your business! And let me ask you something, when did your company start?"
"That's easy, 27 April 2007," he answered with a smirk.
"And, when's my birthday? And mum's?" I asked.
Worry crossed his features. "Yours is 17 November 1988. Mum's is 30 March 1961," he said unsurely.
"Wrong. Mine is the 20th of November and mum's is in April. You can remember the start of your company, but you can't remember me OR mum's birthday." I shook my head before getting into my car.
Niall's POV
It was after Mrs. McCarthy's funeral. I saw Kyna, but I didn't go up to her. She was probably married by now. I was just walking along the pavement, kicking a can, and moping. I was currently soaked, but I honestly didn't give a shit.
Kyna's POV
I walked along the pavement in town, kind of just rethinking life. I felt someone bump into me straight on.
"Sorry," he muttered, before continuing on. I know that voice, I whipped around.
"Niall?"
"Kyna?" We just stared at each other for a good two minutes.
"I broke up with him," I muttered, shuffling my feet.
"Why?" I could feel his eyes on me.
"Things happened," I answered quietly. We stood in silence for another minute or so. Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around me.
"I missed you, so, so, much," he whispered. It was like every problem I ever had just disappeared.
I smiled softly, "I missed you, too, Nialler."
He cupped my face with one hand, "I love you so much," he murmured before gently kissing me.
I smiled, "I love you, too," I said before kissing him again.

This is the last chapter omfg. I didn't even realize I was ending it here >.< There's going to be an epilogue where she sees all the boys again, so stay tuned :)
I know I said I'd update last week, and I'm so sorry. I got ill, and I couldn't write anything without coughing all over my laptop, and that kind of ruined my concentration... Thank you for being patient with me :) <3
I love you guys a ton. Thank for reading :) xx
Song on Side- Little Things by One Direction. Gah, I LOVE this song.
BTW, the kiss scene is what inspired my cover, just a fact :)
And can we just talk about Haylor for a second. Like I'm so confused. Leave your opinions on Haylor below, I want to know what you think. Publicity stunt? or for realzies? and do you ship it? I don't know why everyone's hating on Taylor though, I mean in my opinion, she does have a LOT of relationships, but she's quite a nice person on her interviews and stuff, and her music isn't bad either.
