Chapter 12-I Really Want To Kiss You

"Kyna, wake up, we're here," I heard Niall say. He shook me gently, "Come on Kyna, wake up." I groaned. "KYNA MCCARTHY WAKE UP!" he yelled. I snapped up, and slapped his arm. "Ow," he muttered, making a face.

I got up, "What state are we even in?" I asked.

"Pennsylvania," he answered, rubbing his arm, "Damn, your slap really has a bite." I grinned.

At the Hotel

"Liam, babe, can we go get some ice cream?" Kara asked him sweetly. I seriously wanted to slap that bitch again.

"Kara, stop calling me babe, but sure. Who wants to go get some ice cream?" he asked us.

"I'm gonna go swimming," Niall said.

"They have a pool?! I wanna go swimming, too!" I exclaimed.

"I want ice cream," Harry said.

"Me too," Louis said.

"Well, I want to go swiim- OW!" Louis had stomped on Zayn's foot. "What was that for?!" Zayn asked, flabbergasted. Louis whispered something in his ear. "Actually, I want ice cream," he smiled weirdly. Liam frowned at Niall and I.

"Why so serious?" I teased, quoting the Joker.

"Nothing," he smiled, "C'mon boys, let's go!"

I floated on the water, just relaxing, when I heard Paul call me.

"Kyna! Your mum's on the phone!" he called. I ran over, and took the phone.

"Hi mum!" I smiled.

"Hi baby," I could hear how weak she was.

"Mum, you didn't need to call. You should be resting," I told her.

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I just wanted to make sure you were, I heard about this Kara girl from Niall. She's not causing you any trouble is she? Because if she is, I'll make sure to kick her butt for you," she said.

Tears welled up in my eyes, "I'm fine mum. I've been focusing on you mostly. I have money for the chemo, and medication. I'll send it to you," I told her.

"Where would you get that money?" she asked.

"You don't need to worry about that. I promise I didn't steal if that's what you're thinking. Get some rest now, mum. I love you," I said.

"I love you, too," the line went dead. I jumped in the pool, and let the tears out. Niall swam up to me, "Are you okay?" he asked.

I nodded. He scowled, "Don't lie," he said, embracing me.

"Thanks Niall," I smiled at him.

"You're welcome. Now, cheer up," he splashed me, and swam off.

"EY!" I swam after him, "YOU'RE DEAD HORAN!" He let out a laugh.

I swam on top of him, and wrapped my entire body around him. He laughed, "What are you gonna do now that you've caught me?" he asked, turning his head to look at me. His eyes were so pretty. I really wanted to kiss him right now. What?! No I don't! Stupid brain!

"Kyna?" he said, snapping me out of my trance.

"I don't know," I said, furrowing my brows.

"In that case," he picked me up bridal style, and started spinning me around.

"Niall! Stop! Put me down!" I screamed.

"If you say so," he threw me into the water.

I swam up to him scowling. "Aw, you look cute when you're angry," he said. That made me scowl more. He took my arm, and started playing with it, "Come on, don't be angry with me, pwease." I shook my head. He pulled me into his arms, and stared into my eyes.

"Please don't be angry with me," he said, giving me a puppy dog face. My heart was beating so fast right now.

"Yeah, okay," I smiled weakly.

"I really want to kiss you right now," he whispered, before letting me go, and getting out of the pool. I took a deep breath when he left. I let myself sink to the bottom of the pool, had I heard that correctly?

Liam's POV

I know he likes her. Why was I so stupid?! I should've went swimming with them! I was losing her, I could feel it. Stupid Kara, following me around like a dog. She was pushing Kyna away from me, so she only has Niall to go to.

"Babe-" Kara started, I cut her off.

"STOP CALLING ME BABE!" I snapped. The other boys stared at me.

"Eff yeah! You tell her Liam!" Zayn said. I chuckled.

"Ugh!" she huffed, before storming out.

Niall's POV

Stupid, stupid, stupid! why would I tell her I wanted to kiss her?! AGHHH!

"Niall?" I heard Kyna say, as she knocked on the door. I opened the door, "Yeah?"

"I'm going to The King of Prussia, you know the mall? I heard it's really big! Wanna come with?" she asked.

"Sure," I said. I guess she didn't hear me. Thank god!

"This place is HUGE!" she said in awe.

"It is," I agreed.

"Let's go get some fro-yo!" she exclaimed, grabbing my hand and dragging me. I felt myself blush. Get it together Niall!

"What can I get you?" the girl at the counter asked Kyna

"I'll have two scoops of strawberry in a cone," she told her, "Niall?"

"I'll have the same," I said.

"Here you go," the girl said, handing us our frozen yogurt.

"Thanks," I smiled, paying her.

"It's getting late, maybe we should head back," she said.

"Hold on, I just need to get something, I'll be right back," I told her.

I got to the Apple shop, right as it was closing.

"Sir, I'm sorry, but we're closing," the employee said.

"Here," I gave him $400, and grabbed the Beats that Kyna had been eyeing. "Keep the change," I told him.

"Uh, thanks!" he said.

I got back to Kyna, where she was sitting on the floor. "Niall we have a problem, we're locked in the mall," she said.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, while you were gone, I went to check the doors, and they were locked," she told me, "What'd you even need to do?" she asked, obviously peeved at me.

I sighed, and handed her the Beats, "Here, I went to buy these for you. I saw you looking at them when we were in the Apple store."

Her eyes widened, "OH MY GOD! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she squealed, hugging me She kissed me on the cheek.

She looked into my eyes, "Thank you Niall. I'll treasure these forever," she said. My eyes didn't leave her lips for a second.

"I'm sorry," I muttered.

"What?"

I hesitated for a minute, before I slammed my lips against hers. I'm so screwed.
