Saturday, Day of the Bet

I watched as Niall sang into the mic. We set up a little slide show with random pictures while we sang. Niall went first (obviously). He was singing As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber.

He finished. "Now our next mystery singer!" Jake announced. He was our announcer guy. He walked back down, "Good luck," he smiled, as I sat into the seat. I double checked the tuning on my guitar.

I took a breath, and started. I was singing by Somebody I Used to Know by Gotye. "Now and then I think of when we were together, like when you said you felt so happy you could die," I stared into Niall's eyes, my pain reflecting in my eyes.

Niall's POV (Yey!)

She hit the chorus, "But, you didn't have to cut me off, make out like it never happened and that we were nothing. And, I don't even need your love, but you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough. You didn't have to stoop so low, have your friends collect your records and then change your number," she sang. Her eyes bore into mine. I turned away. I can't believe what I did to her before. The song was relatable to us, if you changed the meaning, and ignored some lyrics.

Kyna's POV

"Guess that I don't need that though, now your just somebody that I used to know," then the unthinkable happened. My guitar slipped out of tune, to a place that everyone could tell. I couldn't go acapella, no, everyone had already heard my guitar mishap, and I'd stopped in the middle of the song. Even if I started again in acapella, it was too late, I'd already sealed my fate.

Sorreh, it's short, and late. I would've uploaded yesterday, but my internet crashed, and by the time it came back I had to go to bed. Sorry if it wasn't that exciting. I didn't have that many ideas for this chapter. Thanks for reading :) xx
