The office was quiet. Too quiet. It was the first day back to the office for Jisung since he was put in the hospital. Minho was glad that Jaemin wasn't bothering him about his love life anymore but was harassing his interest instead.
Minho sat in his office, trying to desperately finish the pile of emails that sat in his inbox while drinking still boiling hot coffee, the top part of his mouth basically dead."Hey, someones here for you." Jisung tapped on the side of Minho's desk, running a hand through his hair.
"Let them up." Minho mumbled as he pressed send on another email.
The clicking of high heels were head through the glass of Minho's office, a strong scent of lavender and vanilla wafting around the office building.
"Lee Know~." It was her.
"Fei Moon." Jisung's voice held venom as he looked the middle aged woman up and down in distaste.
Her steam pressed emerald colored dress made Jisung's $5 tie seem as useless as the pencil holder on Minho's desk. Her heels were covered in green glitter that sparkled with each and every step she took. Fei's hair had taken on a bright blonde color, ice blue lenses in her eyes while her skin seemed two or thee shades too light, a sick skin color she seemed to sport.
"I'm here for Hyunso. My baby." Minho let out a groan and stood from his desk, adjusting a stack of files before he moved around and to her.
"Is it really the third week of the month?" Minho sighed as he placed his hands in his pockets. "Right now Jinyoung took him out to get him a snack. They should be back any moment." Hating the idea of sending his child off with the woman of his nightmares Minho hated the fact that he had to even more.
"How's the gala coming along?" Fei asked as she took a seat, mumbling about how her feet had started to hurt due to her expensive heels.
"It's going fine." Minho's answer was short and harsh, he hated talking to her more than he hated looking at her.
"Could you make yourself useful and get me some coffee? Soy milk only with a dash of peppermint extract." Fei looked up at Jisung and made a waving motion with her hand, the woman wanting the younger to leave.
"We don't have peppermint extract. Or soy milk. It's an office, not a cafè. If you want that kind of coffee get it yourself." Jisung's answer made her gasp and straighten up in the chair.
"How dare you talk to me like that! You pesk. I can have you fired." Jisung rolled his eyes and opened the doors of Minho's office, the sound of Hyunso's giggling being a signal that they were back.
"Daddy I'm back!" The little boy ignored his mother and raced straight to Minho, his arms wrapping around his legs.
"Hey buddy." Minho said as he ruffled the little boys hair.
"Baby!" Fei called out, her voice making the child freeze in his spot.
"Mom?" He asked, voice muffled from where his face was shoved in Minho's legs.
"Hyunnie. Come to mommy." Fei had to practically pry Hyunso away from his legs and drag him out of the office, her promises of ice cream for breakfast and waffle dinner doing nothing.
"Why is he leaving?" Jisung asked as he watched her leave.
"Every third week of every month Fei gets Hyunso for a week. Minho got main custody but she still gets to have him for a week," Jinyoung watched his friend slump over in his chair, head pressed into the wood of his desk. "It really takes a toll on him."
"I can see."
