The nine of them sat around a table in a McDonald's, Hyunjin insisting it had to be a McDonald's because he wanted fries. Chan sat between Jeongin and Woojin while Jisung and Minho sat in front of them, Seungmin and Hyunjin on Woojin's side while Felix and Changbin was on Jisung's.
"Family meeting." Felix announced as Woojin came back with a tray full of fries, setting them in the middle of the table.
"We're not a family." Seungmin hissed as he chewed on a fry, sending a glare to Minho.
"Look. I'm tired of all of this fighting and bullshit. We each get twenty minutes to say what we have on our minds and if anyone interrupts anyone else your time is cut by five minutes. So none of those petty arguments. Got it? Great. Now I have a timer set on my phone for twenty minutes and Hyunjin goes first." Jeongin's burst made all the others wide eyed, none of them had ever heard him this serious. Throwing his phone onto the table a timer was shown ticking down and all the attention was placed to Hyunjin, who was shoving fries in his mouth.
"Okay. Well first of all, thank you Felix for arranging this meeting because I feel like we all knew it was long overdue. And welcome Minho to our meeting. I would like to say that I feel like if Minho and Jisung truly do love each other then they should prove it, and not by fighting other people." Finished with his statement Jeongin stopped the timer and pressed reset, nodding at Seungmin as a signal that it was his turn.
"Well I agree with Hyunjin. Not all relationships go well and there are always the ups and downs of them. But we do need a way to tell if they really do love each other so we can start making ideas. Like a trial and error system but with physical shit."
The table went round talking about how they felt about the possible couple. Woojin expressing how he just wanted everyone to be happy, Jeongin expressing how he wanted all of the drama to be done with, resulting in Chan letting off a scoff which cut time from Chan talking about how he didn't like the idea of the two together but would agree to the trial if it made Jisung happy, and Changbin and Felix suggesting a "relationship" test to be placed on the two of them for compatibility. Now it was down to Minho and Jisung.
"Jisung. I am going to start off on how sorry I am to put you through all of the pain and suffering I had put you through. I didn't mean to hurt you, but I did and I feel so bad about it. Please, give me a chance because you're the only one that I've ever felt this way about." Minho's words made Jisung's eyes water and Chan's eyes roll into the back of his head.
"Minho. I love you too. But I'm not sure why. You've caused me both pleasure and pain, heartbreak and hope. And all that it's left me with is bloodshot eyes and an everlasting headache. If you say you love me I want you to show me, stop being afriad. You've been through two other relationships with two different people and you say that you've never felt this way. Well I don't know how to feel."
"Okay. Tomorrow we are all meeting at the park, the one near the ice cream shop that I like. The trial will start tomorrow. Meeting done." Jeongin stood up from the table, the others following in suit and shaking hands as if they got dome with a successful business meeting.
"The park it is." Jisung mumbled under his breath.
