Chapter 5: The Manager

It felt like we were there for days, months...even years, refusing to let go of each other as we were cocooning together in a warm, soft shell. Our hearts were beating in a perfect synchronisation like a pair of instruments performing a beautiful tune.

However, reality snapped back to me in an instant for me to notice Koharu lying on me with her eyes closed and her grip loosened. Turns out she ended up fainting from the extreme pressure, however I couldn't help myself but blush from the cute face she had.

After composing myself, I scooped up Koharu, cradling her in my arms as I stood up.

"I should take her to the nurse's office, if I waste any more time then Muro-chin will be after me.." The thought of him pouncing at me like a tiger shook my insides in fear, so I swiftly rushed off the the nurses office.

[3:45PM, School Gym.]

Amongst the relentless pounding of basketballs slamming against the ground, there stood a figure at the end of the gym, peering out from behind the doors that led to the locker rooms.

"Tch, where is he?" The person hissed quietly whilst gritting their teeth.

A nearby light flickered on in an instant, reavealing the figure to be a female of a slightly above average height. The girl was suprisingly attractive, with lush, magenta hair flowing down to her jaw alongside her equally coloured glistening eyes.

She was also wearing a Yosen uniform, with a white shirt being pushed out by her chest with a few bottom buttons undone which exposed her naval, alongside a skirt bearing the school logo which was about a size too short for her, only going halfway down her thighs, and on top of that she was wearing short socks instead of tights. Finally, instead of wearing a school blazar, she had a plain black hoodie on.

Adjusting her light-rimmed glasses, she swayed herself back as to not be seen, and her dark purple bag's name tag was illuminated brightly.

Melody Shirogane.

"Ah, there he is!" She exclaimed to herself as she watched the purple giant, Murasakibara, enter the gym.

Melody stood up straight. "It's about time I introduce myself." She said before stepping inside.

Instantly, her appearance was noticed, many of the boys - especially Himuro - were instantly infatuated by her looks. Okamura already had a nosebleed.

"You're finally here." Said Masako, the coach of the Yosen basketball team.

"Yes, I certainly got carried away observing your players." Melody replied calmly. "They exceeded my first expectations."

Masako smiled lightly, appreciating the compliment before glaring at the rest of the team, causing them to break out of their trances caused by Melody's sudden appearance.

Silence filled the air for a moment, Himuro constantly snatched looks at the magenta beauty but couldn't help himself from blushing.

"Team Yosen..." Masako began.

"I'd like you to meet your new manager, Melody."
