Manager!?
None of the boys present were expecting this news. Yosen had never had a manager before, most of the work regarding the team as well as technical parts had gone to the coach, in this case, Masako.
More importantly to them, the last person whom they expected to take the role was an attractive second year girl. Was it a dream?
"Jeez..what are you staring at?" Melody spoke again sparking the boys' attention yet again. "I'm not training men who gape uncontrollably at the sight of a girl."
She glaced over at Himuro, who was staring at the ground and trying to keep his composure. It seemed that the sight of Melody was too much even for someone like him.
"Build: 420, Technique: 2390, Spirit: 1110. Ability Rating of 3920. For a first year, that's really impressive...I'l be sure to watch this guy closely."
Melody is a bit similar to other coaches such as Satsuki back when we were in middle school, Melody can analyze the 'numbers' of players at a glance. These numbers refer to their body, their technique and their spirit - their passion for the game. The total of these three numbers accumulate the player's Ability Rating.
She spoke again. "..I suppose I should see you all in action first. Spilt in the two teams, and make sure to give me a good first impression."
"Yes, ma'am!" The team responded in unison.

Over in the nurse's office, the precious, white haired girl had finally woken up after fainting from our recent encounter. She lay there, her arms and legs spread out across the bed.
Even though Koharu's body was relaxed, her mind was still all over the place, and she couldn't bring herself to get up incase her heart had to deal with such intensity immediately afterwards.
"I'll just wait a little bit longer..." She uttered to herself. "I'm not ready for it yet...but I want to feel his caring arms once again..."
Koharu glanced up to a nearby window and out to the moon above, admiring the white orb that shined like her eyes.
"I'll come back, Atsushi.."

Melody's eyes widened in shock as she witnessed me perform a s
spectacular dunk. I did hesitate slightly, however, since I was worried that I was going to accidentally use too much power and break the hoop. I honestly cant afford to keep paying for replacements.
Upon scanning my 'numbers', her shock turned into what seemed like almost fear.
"Build: 8450, Technique: 1200, Spirit: 1000. Ability Rating of...10,650!? That's around the same rating as an NBA player! He's like a monster!"
Admittedly, I was incredibly strong the the point I had to hold back. Knowing that I wasn't even an adult was even more shocking. I honestly had no idea I could compete with people like them.
"And...he's holding back! His peak numbers are actually....n-no....
Build: 12,820, Technique: 2200, Spirit: 2020. Ability R-Rating...17,040!? A high-schooler is almost as powerful as top players like Michael Jordan? I-Impossible..."
"Could he be unbeatable...?"
