Anybody he considers close to him calls him Nick, only his parents and people that speak formally to him actually call him by his name. If it's a servant or someone 'below him' they typically address him as Young Master. He's the type to get irritated if someone fails to address him correctly. If you're close, he doesn't care.
•Ability•
Like his father and brother, Nicholas has Fire Manipulation. The ability he was born with itself wasn't very powerful, however with pouring himself into bettering it he has grown significantly and believes he's the best in the family.

•Personality• Nick is the youngest prince and tends to get a lot of attention because of his alluring personality, and that's exactly the way he likes it. He's incredibly sweet and considerate and will listen to you for hours, he seems to understand people really well and put pieces together like none other. He's incredibly smart and often has the most fun when he's solving problems and fixing things, which is why he's a very reliable friend. Despite being smart, he can tend to let other people's opinions of him differentiate his choices and will a lot of the times, do what he knows is wrong for the sake of being in others good graces and or popular. Unfortunately, he's very quiet, and not a lot of people know much about him because he's so reserved. He doesn't have much of a public image, because he's always afraid of saying the wrong thing and he can be pegged as kind of mysterious, but his actions speak for him. Nicholas is involved in many charity organizations and has the luck of being in the right place at the right time, he seems to always be at the giving end and has gotten quite a lot favor with the citizens because of it.
He doesn't talk because he's afraid of criticism. He lives by others judgments, and someone not liking him can literally tear him apart. He'll get offended really easily as well, and will make it his personal mission to make someone like him. Though once you get to know him, he's incredibly playful and can be a bit of a tease. He enjoys seeing people laugh and smile despite him being a literal mess inside.

•Strengths•
Besides being a great problem solver, he also does incredibly well with people. His whole life his image has meant everything to him, so he knows exactly how to conduct himself, and has figured out how to nearly always be liked. So he does very well in social situations as well as helps his father out with business quiet often.

•Weaknesses•
Nick can be kind of impatient, he has a certain way of doing things and tends to believe he is always right. As well as being impatient he's also over emotional and sensitive. He'll get really angry and hurt if something doesn't go his way, which yes, I know sounds like a spoiled brat, but it mainly stems from him being a perfectionist.
He'll get offended over nothing and for better or worse can be overdramatic and childish, seriously, I'm talking giving someone the cold shoulder because they said they didn't like his Designer Shoes.
He loves people and everything, but he has built up a maze of walls around himself and next to never lets them down for anyone. He has some major trust issues and simply can't believe that anyone would love him for who he believes he is.

•Thoughts On The Selection•
Honestly he's a nervous wreck. He wouldn't show it, because he does very well at hiding things for the sake of people liking him. But he's worried someone will get to know him too well, and that makes him feel vulnerable. He's also very anxious, anxious he might actually end up falling in love, or anxious someone's going to hate him and there's nothing he can do to change that.

•Favorite Place In The Palace•
Most definitely the Library! He's a sucker for books, and can get lost in them for hours upon hours upon hours. Seriously, you can almost always find him there. He's all about getting lost in the stories of the books, and or learning and studying something, but the main reason he likes being there is because it's big, quiet, and usually pretty empty. Which means he doesn't have to worry about any kind of images, and can simply feel comfortable in his own skin.

•Other•
He is seriously obsessed with anything exotic or new and can be wowed with anything as simple as a souvenir. His dream is to travel, but he doesn't get to do it very often and he feels as though the Palace would fall apart if he wasn't there.
Also he loves collecting things and it has low key become an addiction.

•Roleplay Example•
Nicholas took a sharp breath as he looked himself up and down in the mirror. This wasn't right. The green tie made his skin look yellow-ish and the suit was much too baggy around his arms.
The 24th had to be perfect, he had to look perfect. And right now he looked far from it. He anxiously loosened the tie and called for his maid by name as he began to get undressed. Requesting the suit get retailered and that they bring out a rose gold tie, also, a different pair of shoes, he had changed his mind about the one's he was currently wearing.
He was always picky, but it had gotten worse with every day the selection got closer. He was nervous beyond belief, and nowhere near prepared enough. He sighed as he looked in the mirror once again. 'Would they like him? Was he enough?' a gentle knock at the door interrupted his thoughts "Young Master, the tailor has arrived." a sweet voice cooed from the other side. With a deep breath, a brave face, and a determined attitude he went to open up the door.
The girls coming to the palace was inevitable, he would surely mess up once or twice, and he had no idea if he'd find love, but only time could tell. And all he could do right now was make sure he was as much prepared as humanly possible. Time for the 7th try.
