Francesca found herself sitting on the waiting room of the hospital, waiting for her name to be called. She was nervous. She didn't want bad results, she already started her day in a bad way.

When she went into the forest,to the spot where she killed the creature it wasn't there. It gave her a massive headache, just by thinking of it.She knew she should've gone back, but she let her stubbornness decide. She cursed under her breath.

When she heard footsteps approach her,she stood immediately. It was the secretary, she acknowledged her with a smile."Good morning."she said.

"Good morning."the secretary said."The doc is expecting you."

Francesca found him in his room, scribbling a few things on a piece of paper. She took the seat across him and waited patiently. When he looked up at her,he smiled.

"Good day,Mrs White."

"Hello."

"Anxious?"

"Very."

Dr Vliegstuin chuckled,"Alright, alright,I'll bring the results over."He then stood up to get the results that were neatly packed in a manila folder.Francesca was dying on the inside. She wanted those results so badly but at the moment she wanted to run away.Would it be what she was expecting? She didn't know but she hoped it would be a positive result, one that made her happy.

When he returned,he had the file in his hand and he was going through it.His face wasn't too happy.Francesca swallowed hard."Is there a problem doc?"she asked softly.

"Well...uhm,"he stuttered.Francesca shut her eyes closed. She knew it was bad,she saw it coming.Deep down, she knew she was expecting."This may not be very pleasant,Ms White."

"I know."

"You're pregnant.It's a positive.Three weeks."

"What?Three weeks?That's impossible."

"How so?"he asked.

"I didn't have a partner three weeks ago.I never did."

"The results are clear, you are pregnant."the doctor said. She didn't have the strength to debate about anything anymore. She grabbed her bag, thanked the doctor and as soon as she stepped outside she breathed out.She couldn't believe it,but deep down she knew.Three weeks? She couldn't believe it.She never had a partner, never had a lover. What could have happened three weeks ago?Something she hadn't remember? No,her memory was perfectly fine. She wasn't out of her mind.

Something happened. The night she was at the bar.The night she drank too much. The night she slept over at Troy's.He swore nothing had happened but it was stated in that paper, she was pregnant and he had the answers to that. She pressed the key into the ignition and started the car.

She currently had a new mission. One that involved scissors, screwdrivers and lots and lots of blood.

*

Before he had the time to give her a warm welcome,he found himself flying across the floor. She had punched him,not the most formal greeting,he thought."Nice to see you too."he said sarcastically as he stood up and wiped the blood from his busted lip.

"You liar!"she said as she poked his chest with her index finger."What happened that night?"she questioned.

"What are you talking about?"he asked. He was lying, she knew he was.His eyes were wild and his hands were trembling. She was holding an axe for God's sake.

"Don't mock innocence!"she shouted.

"You need to calm down."he said.

"Shut up! My whole life is ruined because of you!"

"Tell me what's going on!"he demanded. The air surrounding them was thick and dense. The tension was there, suffocating them both. The sun wasn't shining like it had the day before. It was quite a peaceful day for Francesca back then,no pale faces walking around town.

She breathed in,"I'm pregnant."

Not only did hers but his world stopped as well.He could not believe it.It was impossible. He knew he shouldn't have touched her that night,it was a mistake. He had a bad feeling, but as always he didn't follow his instincts. Now,he had debts to pay.And he doubted he'd give her a reasonable explanation.

"Impossible,"he whispered. She scoffed and threw a punch at his chest,"Deja vú.That's exactly what I thought!"

"You need to calm down."

"And you need to start talking."she said,"Or you're gonna pay,the hard way."

*

"You're sick."she said after she heard the whole story. She stood up and was about to leave when he held her back."Don't touch me."she growled at him.

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry? That's not going to make this child disappear!"

"We'll figure something out."

"Get away from me me,before I hurt you."She couldn't believe it,she simply couldn't.He took advantage of her drunken state and touched her.A paleface, touching her.She was beyond disgusted, but above all she was ashamed. How could she have trusted an enemy? How stupid could she be?

She left his house and wandered off to the streets. She didn't even bother driving, she walked. So many things were running through her mind.So many things she'd like to say out loud, but couldn't.She didn't have anyone in the world,no one she could talk to.No one to give her advice. But there was one,she remembered. The old lady that had given her advice.

When the old lady opened the door, she gasped.Francesca looked pale and exhausted, and worst. Her belly was showing, just a little."What happened to you?"the woman asked.

"Long story."she mumbled,"May I come in?"

A few hours later...

She was back home, the place she felt secured in.It felt good telling the woman everything. What she had done and how she followed her advice. She only left out the part that she was a vampire hunter and he was a vampire. She had made her mind, she was not going to make an abortion. That was officially scratched off.

What she was going to do was wait and see.Only time would tell her whether the child would be born normal. Her only concern was time. The baby was developing too fast and sure enough she would give birth in approximately two months.A short amount of time.People would know something out of this world was happening, and she without question would be hanged.

As she took out a slice of bread from it's plastic, she detected movement with the corner of her eyes.Something dark moved, something that carried negative energies. She picked up her kitchen knife ans held it up.She had to be cautious, and she was sure something or someone was in the house. She moved closer to the living room.

The house was dark, very dark and she couldn't see her way around the place. But her eyes were wide open, and it reminded her of the way she hunts when she's in the woods. She saw the movement again and she threw the knife at the shadow. But unfortunately...she missed.

The shadow charged towards her and pinned her to the ground. She squirmed beneath the person. When she was free, she crawled toqards the kitchen where there was light. When she turned to the living room, there was nothing. She turned towards the sink and grabbed another knife but when she turned back around it was too late. The creature was in front of her and hit her.Hard.

When she was face-to-face with it,she recognized it straight away.It was the vampire she wasn't sure she had killed. The one that got away.It still had the revolting scar she had made on it's face.It looked fresh.

"Thought I wouldn't find you?"it questioned her.

"Thought you were dead."

"I'm here to get my revenge on you hunter. You will pay, with your blood."it said as it flashed a set of bloody teeth and fangs. She knew by then that she was doomed.
