Russia's POV

I thought as a countries we would understand-but none of us do. This is because we're weren't made from the mistakes of the world, we didn't have America's childhood, we didn't have his trauma, we didn't have his stress, and we sure as hell would never have his confidence. But to be told America played the fool for all these years? That was truly unexpected. Although he seemed ignorant, annoying and disrespectful, it was just another facade. Another lie. I get up. Most of the countries look at me like 'wtf are you doing??' I sigh and walk to America who was hunched over, one of his arms over his stomach and another on his forehead like he was thinking extremely hard. I wrap him in a hug. America gasp like he had never been hugged and this was new.
He began to speak.

America POV-

"R-russia?" I timidly said

"Yes Америка it's me..."

"Thought ya hated me commie"

"It's not that I hate you you stupid capitalist, our countries do. We've never truly meet on a personal level. So..." Russia pulled away all his body heat left me that upset me so much. He put out his hand

"Hello my name is Braginsky, Ivan Braginsky. I'm the personification of Russia." He flashed a quick smile as I shook his hand.

"Heh....names' Alfred F. Jones. 'M the personification of the United states of America or the U.S.A.. Nice to meet ya partner" I chuckled a lttle thinking about how I just went from 'worst of enemies' to 'hey dude can we be friends?' in about 40 seconds. How is that even possible? "Alfred?" Russia was on his knee his hand on my shoulder. I would be lying if I said I wasn't blushing. Because I was being the gay fuckup i was.

"What's up Ivan?" I offered my fake 'thousand dollars Hollywood' smile. The same one that fooled all the countries for centuries.

He quickly blushed, or was that my mind wishing that he was gay? Or even if he was bi-or pan......wait isn't that frowned upon in his country? Fuck....

"Hey we should get on with this book-!"

Germany nodded and read loudly

"America knows every single language. This includes sign language that's specifically for each country....."

"America-San.....I'm sorry"
