THE PARTY?

AFTER SCHOOL

Daniel has to stay for detention so I guided him to the detention room and met up with Lenny at the front of school.
"Hey" I said to Lenny

"Hello my lovely book worm" Lenny said. He loved calling me book worm and I thought it was cute so I let him.
"So... are you ready to go walking" I ask Lenny.

"Well actually... to make up for these past days I asked Jeff (Lennys older brother) if I could borrow his car and take you out to eat"

"Lenny you shouldn't have" I said smiling.

"Come on get in" Lenny said while he was walking towards Jeff's 2019 Camero.

"So where does my favorite book worm want to eat" asked Lenny as he clicked his seat belt.

"Fridays are for Pizza" I say.

"Pizza it is"

Lenny turned on the speakers and started blasting early 2000s jams. We sang all the ride and made our way to a local Pizza Parlor. Lenny always manages to bring a smile to my face.

We sat in a booth in the corner and ordered a small pepperoni pizza.

"So, What's been going on?"asks Lenny while sipping on his Dr.Pepper.

"Well..." I explain to Lenny everything that had happen.

"What if James is actually in love with you" Lenny says with sarcasm in his voice.

"yeah, I'm sure that's why he's a jerk to me" I say sarcastically.

"But seriously something is up with him because he's never been physical" says Lenny in a serious voice.

"Yeah but some people change" I say.

"So what about Daniel" Lenny says with a wink.

"what about Daniel?" I ask

"You two have been getting pretty close"

I laugh
"yeah so? He's new, cool and super friendly"

"Is that all?" Lenny says with a smirk

"I don't think I'm his type, Len"

"And why not? You're beautiful, sexy and amazing. If I were straight, you know I'd be all over you. With consent of course"

"Thanks Len" I say chuckling.

Lenny had come out to his family and me about 3 years ago. I love and support him no matter what. He recently came out to Tre and Kathy and they have yet to treat him differently.

I wanted to play matchmaker with Lenny and Daniel but I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Just because they're the only two gay guys I know doesn't mean they had to be attracted to each other.

"You wanna hang at my house?"

"sure, len"

We made it to his huge house. Lenny was rich but he never showed it off. (One of the reasons I loved him). He had the opportunity to ignore me and be a rich jerk to me but he wasn't. He was sweet, funny and a genuinely good friend.

"How'd you like my car, Ry" asked Jeff as we entered Lennys home.

Jeff was older than us by two years. He had graduated in the summer. He was a freshman in college. I've liked him since I met him in 6th grade when Lenny invited me to his house for the first time. He's very handsome and tall. He looks sort of like he's dying but I found that to be very attractive. I knew he could never like me because of my body but also because he saw me as his little sister.

"it's nice" I answered

"Come on Ry! It's more than nice. She's a beauty!" Jeff said as he walked up to me give me a hug.

When I hugged him he smelled so good as always. His 6'2 body hovered over my 5'3 frame.

"I missed you, Ry" Jeff said as he hugged me.

"me too" I said as I rested my head against his chest.

"What are you guys going to do?" asked Jeff pulling away from our hug.

"You know the usual, watch some movies, sleep and eat" Lenny said while sitting on his couch on the living room.

"Oh come on. Guys you're coming with me" say Jeff

"Where?" asks Lenny

"You guys are going to experience your first college party" says Jeff with a cute smile on his face.

'I don't think I'm ready to attend my first college party' I thought to myself.

"i don't know" I say.

"Come on Ry! You wouldn't have to drink and I would be with you all night" says Jeff with a wink.

"Plus you're already dressed for it" Lenny said also giving me a wink.

' Maybe it was the fact that Jeff said he would be with me all night or the fact that I had a long week and deserved a little break'

"Alright but can I invite Daniel?" I asked. Only Daniel since Friday's are Katy and Tre's date night.

"Who's that?" Asked Jeff

"He's my new friend." I said.

"The more the merrier" says Jeff with a smile.

Just got out of Detention. I have no plans. Why?

Would you like to go to a party with Lenny, Jeff and I.

Jeff?

(ME)
Lennys older brother.

DANIEL🥺
Oh alright then yeah. Text me the address. See you in a lil bit.

"Well Daniel is coming"

"Great" says Jeff.

*About 35 minutes later*

We were hanging out in the living room and we heard a knock.

"Are y'all ready for a party?" Says Daniel as he walks in.

"I like this guy already" says Jeff with a chuckle.
