When the class is over and it was break, Temperance is nearly done with her task and Gluttony hadn't done anything except fix a minor flaw that should've took, like, ten seconds to fix.
Temperance must've noticed this, because she pulled him aside and dragged him to a secluded hallway that people rarely passed by.
She pinned him to the wall. "Spit it out," she hissed, face mere centimeters away from his, actual concern in her eyes. "There is something bothering you and it's affecting your performance. You also look like you were possessed for the entirety of science. I felt nothing wrong with your aura, but if you are magically tampered with, I'm bringing you straight to Kindness."
There was a few seconds of tense silence, their faces so close to the other's, noses nearly touching.
Wow, Temperance's breath smells like sakura flowers, Gluttony realized.
Even with the realization, the tension between the two were thick enough to be sliced with a sword until Gluttony smiled ruefully.
He'd gotten his hopes up, but of course she just wanted him to improve his work. That should be obvious. "I'm fine, just a little out of it," he replied calmly. "I swear I'll do better next time."
"You better," Temperance shot back, once again being cold and brash to him. She let go of his clothes and sped-walked out of the hall.
He's fine. He doesn't feel hurt or anything. It's okay. Absolutely fine.
