She'd gotten better.

Slightly better.

For starters, Temperance wasn't feeling like a walking corpse anymore. She had some energy in her, and the soft, rosy blush was starting to return to her cheeks.

Patience had been the one to nurse her the most, along with Kindness, because they're the healers and because they know about her hanahaki.

Surgery had been offered to Temperance twice and she'd denied it thrice.

Humility had commented on her new, lively appearance once, to which she responded with, "Don't get me wrong, I'm still a vampire."

It was unusual for her to joke around. She was to the point, brash, mostly honest, at times shallow, and she was protective of her family, the complete opposite of Gluttony who used humor to deflect any disaster and was capable of lies and trickery.

For her, it feels like she's slowly adopting some of his traits. A nightmare for her.

She'd been running away from him, as far as she could, but it's like the distance between them couldn't be farther than just a few meters at most.

How is she going to get rid of this disease?
