Tuesday. For most people, they see Tuesday as not as bad as Monday, but not as good as Friday. But to Peter Parker, Tuesdays are AMAZING!!!!!!!
Tuesdays are the days when Peter and Mr Stark have movie marathons. But until Happy picks Peter up from school and drives him to Stark Tower, he is stuck in school, listening to his teacher talks about the workings of basic engineering and how to configure machinery. Which, honestly, he learnt when he was eleven. So, yeah, school sucked, but Peter could look forward to hanging out with Mr Stark.
RING RING RING
Peter shot up from his chair, grabbed his stuff and left to go to his locker. He just had to get through the lunch break, chemistry and Spanish. Then he was free.
"You have to tell me how the marathon goes. Do you think he will cry during Bambi? Or Toy Story? Or, well any Disney movie? Do you think you could get a video of Mr Stark singing something like Hakuna Matata or Let It Go?" Ned rambled as him, and Peter walked to the cafeteria.
"Ned, shhhhh. Keep your voice down." Peter hushed.
"Sorry, but dude. Come on, how can I possibly act normal when you know, you know who!!!!!"
"Yeeeahhhh, it's pretty cool!"
"Everything lame is cool to you two losers." MJ said nose in her book only sparing a second to give the two a bored look.
"Tony Stark is not lame." Ned defended.
"No, but seriously, it's getting harder and harder to ignore you, two nerds. So would you mind shutting up?"
"Sorry, MJ." Peter apologised. "But Ned, she's right, I can't have people hearing that I have any correlation to Tony Stark."
"It's already spread like wildfire that you intern at Stark Industries."
"Which no one believes." MJ added.
"Yeah, true. But also, even if anyone believed that in the first place, they certainly wouldn't believe that an internship involves movie nights with Iron-man." Peter hissed under his breath.
"You're right. An internship doesn't involve that. In fact, besides when you guys are working in the labs, nothing you two do is in a job description." Ned said with a hint in his tone. Peter sighed. He had this conversation with Ned before, and he didn't want to have it again.
"Ned, don't start, please."
"Sorry dude, but you can't keep this all bottled up. I, I, just don't want you to get hurt because you never admitted to him, who he is to you." Ned explained. Peter knew Ned meant well, but, it's easier said than done.
"I know you want the best for me, but that doesn't change anything. He's Mr Stark. He's never going to be more than that. I can't do that to him."
"Dude, you know he loves you. He-"
The scrapping of Peter's chair cut Ned off. Peter was standing up.
"I can't. I'll see you later." Peter said.
"Dude."
"I'll text you tonight." Peter was off. He couldn't handle talking about this. He couldn't let himself even think that Mr Stark thought of him that way. It would hurt too much. As much as he wanted, Tony Stark was never going to see him as a son.
He had to accept that. It was better for everybody.
