3) Destruction

"But now that I'm waiting to wake up, the first thing I have in mind after we win and reunite is to take Aqua and Terra to Disney Town. We still didn't use the pass!"

"And you're planning on leaving me behind? Hold your horses big guy! I deserve a tour around the worlds!" the girl hit the blond's shoulder in a playful manner.

"Hey, who said I'll leave you behind? I have special plans for you." Ven winked, making the girl roll her eyes.

"Oh yeah, and what are they?"

"I'll hide you in my bag and sneak you in!"

Laughing, the pair forgot about all the worries around them. In their eyes, the depressing, black, endless void was a beach of blue waves.

She believed Sora's heart took the image of the island.

Speaking of Sora, her mind is getting clogged.

"Hey, Ven. Somehow, memories are flashing in my mind. It's like I'm living the present in this island with people."

Ventus raised his brow at the girl's sentence. "What do you mean?"

"I know Sora, I talked to him. It's like I'm living with him at this very moment." (Name) explained, sighing.

"Maybe they're memories- flashbacks?"

"I don't think so. I felt you inside his heart and asked him about you, ya know," she continued, "he said your name doesn't ring a bell."

Ven's shoulders slumped, "figures. But how's that even possible? Do you have an all-seeing eye or something?" Ven tried to brighten the mood.

Giggling, the girl shrugged, "maybe, who knows? I need to find an answer to this. Before I appeared here, all I ever saw was... Blank."

Silence took over the area, clouding (Name)'s mind even more.

"Hey, you reminded me! Have you ever played chess?- wait that's dumb. I'll show you!" Ventus blurted out, making the girl snap out of her thoughts.

"Chess? Alright, I'm down. As long as you don't purposely teach me the wrong moves!"

It's been a while, to say the least. (Name) managed to fit perfectly between the island kids. From fighting constantly with Wakka to discussing romance with Selphie, she grew to become everybody's friend.

She also grew to getting used to her double-life with Ventus. Sure, it was weird at times. But breaking the laws of science sure gave her a fun time.

Out of everyone in Destiny Islands, Sora had the closest bond to her- Riku being a close follow up. But seeming to know each-other from somewhere oh-far-beyond, Sora and (Name) clicked perfectly like a puzzle piece.

Riku's suspicion vanished by the second, welcoming (Name) in a manner way out of his "tough guy" character. They were both rational and smart. They shared ideas and training tips every once in a while. Riku was a softy on the inside, or maybe only to (Name).

Kairi was delighted to have another girl in the island, though the pair didn't often bond alone, they were still considered very good friends. And since (Name) was practically homeless, Kairi immediately offered her a place in her flat.

It was the day before Sora, Riku, Kairi, and now (Name) set to possibly discover new worlds and lands ahead of them.

Sure, the idea of stumbling upon a whole new world is far-fetched, but who's to know?
