~Sabre's POV~
I look at the sting that connects mine and Alex's fingers, and I bite my lip. Deep inside me, I knew she was the one since the second I saw her, though I didn't want to admit it.
"Do you know where Rainbow Steve is, Sabre?" Purple Steve asks me, dragging me back to the problem at hand. I look around, finding a direction where there is extremely strong energy coming from it.
"I think... I feel a really strong energy this way, Rainbow Steve might be there," I say softly. Everyone looks in the direction I'm pointing at, and they nod.
"Let's head out then, and find Rainbow Steve and Blue Steve," Night Steve says, and we all nod.
I lead the way, Alex close behind me and the others following her.

Now, the sun is starting to set, but the energy I sensed earlier feels like we're almost at it. "Sabre, I'm tired," Purple Steve whines, the others groaning in response.
"We're really close, guys," Alex reassures, glancing up at me. I nod, silently thanking her for it.
The others continue to groan, but we continue walking. "We'll rest once we find Blue Steve and Rainbow Steve," I say, estimating that they're two hundred blocks from where we stand.
In about three minutes, we find what we've been looking for. Two figures in the distance, being Rainbow Steve and Blue Steve.
"Rainbow Steve!" I shout, and they turn towards me. Both of them seemed to be resting, but as soon as Rainbow Steve notices me, he runs over. Blue Steve follows behind him, not as fast though.
As soon as Rainbow Steve gets to me, which doesn't take long, he hugs me tightly. I chuckle softly, hugging back. "Sabre! I missed you..." Rainbow Steve looks up at me, and I just rub his back a bit.
"I missed you too, Rainbow Steve. I'm sorry for leaving, I just... I wasn't in a good state of mind, that's all," I say softly, and he nods gently.
"Well, while me and Blue Steve were looking for you, we ended up finding an artifact," he says softly, everybody else in the group gasping.
"Really?" I ask excitedly, and he pulls put a ice block that seems to be enchanted. The entire group gasps, gazing over at it.
"That's amazing!" I smile, hugging Rainbow Steve again.
"Thanks," he says softly.
"Uh... guys?" Night Steve says from the side.
"Yeah?" Rainbow Steve asks, walking over to where Night Steve stands.
"There's another artifact really close to here, should we go find it?" he asks.
Everybody groans, Purple Steve the loudest. "I say we rest for a bit, or maybe even for the night, before we do. Sound good to you guys?"
Nods of agreement surround me, everybody breaking off with their friends or lovers, in Rainbow Steve and Blue Steve's case. Alex comes over to me, and I can't help but smile softly.
"You see the strings too, right?" she asks me, and I nod gently. "So... I guess we're soulmates..." her voice trails off, and I nod again.
"Yep..." I sigh softly, knowing she most likely doesn't want to be with me.
"Well, I'm going to go and sleep for the night, I'll talk to you in the morning, Sabre," he says softly to me, walking off before I can even say goodbye.
I sigh, leaning back against the tree and eventually fall asleep.
