Chapter 10

*Hermiones point of view*

“Run, send letters using my owl to Harry, Ron, and Draco tell them Death Eaters. That’s all. Go!”

“I cant leave you, what would happen if something bad were to happen to you?  Your weddings in 2  weeks.” Megan my little sister was at it again trying to remind me that being here was not the best plan and that I was getting married to Ron in 2 weeks. I don’t even know if I love him anymore yet I’m marrying him.

“Megs, do this for me if you don’t it could end up worse for me, I could die. Go!” Now I just hope she remembers to send the letter.

*Dracos view*

Hermione’s owl flew into the open window of the twin’s nursery at the manor. I knew it was her owl just because of the coloring it was brown and white I had helped her pick it out 4 summers ago, we were together and she wanted an owl so we went to Diagonally and she picked this one. What I didn’t recognize was the writing it was large and very childlike I only knew one person who Hermione has ever use her owl… Megan but why would she send me a letter? Once I opened the letter I knew right away that Hermione was in trouble.

DRACO, DEATH EATERS, AUSTRALIA, ZOO, HERMIONE.

That confirmed it Hermione was in trouble and I was going to be the one who had to save her again, why was it always me? I was scared the fiercest death eaters were still on the loose luckily my mum was safe but my dad when to Azkaban he’s still there I visit him once a week, some people thought I was crazy for doing this but it was something he had asked me to do. Near the end of my 6th year at Hogwarts he noticed how I was unhappy with the way things were and he himself was unhappy with what HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED was doing, he wanted to quit and leave the wizarding world for a while then I mentioned all of Hermione’s sacrifices and he knew that he wouldn’t be able to leave just stop and stand up for what was right in the final moments. We Malfoys have changed so much in the last 5 years, I never wanted to be a death eater but I had to become one for my farther.

Stop, what do you think you’re doing? You can’t just leave the twins alone. I must ask mother to watch them well I go save their mother.

“Mother, may I ask a huge favor of you?”

“What is it my dear boy?”

“Can you watch the twins for the day, I have to go and save Hermione for death eaters.”

“Why do you have to? Why can’t that boyfriend of hers do it?”

“Mother, you know our relationship is complicated and if I could I would never let the things I did get in the way of it. All those years and I never told her.”

“Fine, fine. Leave those kids here and they will get spoilt like non-other.” Yes now to save Hermione, this is going to be the hard part I am sure. She is so stubborn but why the letter went to me I have no idea…

Why would Hermione’s owl be sending me messages in a writing I have no idea whose is… she never wrote like that before she always used proper punctuation and full sentences but even the writing was big and messy. Who has her owl and why are they owling me? I don’t care as long as the letter is true I will go and save her she is after all my best friend and almost like a sister to me. Time to let Ginny know I’m going away to save her best friend.

“GIIINNNYYYY!!! I'm going to save Hermione be back soon.” I hope.” Love you sweat heart!”

“Wait Harry why? What’s happened?”

“I got a letter Gin she needs my help, the only problem is I can’t tell who wrote the letter. Can you?”

“Harry, that can’t be true death eaters in Australia and whose writing is this?” As my dear wife was just asking that question another owl came in. This time I knew the owl and the owner. Draco Malfoy.

Harry and I’m sure Ginny,

I have Hermione wasn’t death eaters just lots of wizarding paparotzie. Check out the Daily Clairvoyant it’s like our daily prophet just Australian. I think its best you read it to fit some of the pieces together. I’ll keep her and her family safe till Ron, you and Ginny all get her then I have to get back to my family

“So does that mean that we are going to Australia?”

“Harry, I think we have bigger problems here, look at the front page of this newspaper…”

“Hermione doesn’t have a sister does she?”

“I don’t think so but look at the picture.”  It was in fact a picture with a young girl about 9 or 10 holding Hermione’s hand in a park laughing at something that the older girl had said. It was true the girls must of either been sisters or really close cousins as they both had the Granger hair and smiles.

“Let’s pack so that we can get the answers we need. I will owl Ron and tell him to get his self-packed and over here a.s.a.p.”
