Sorry guys this part is really short. Plus the next few parts are going to be like really sucky.... Just a heads up and Happy Thanksgiving soon!!!!!

After the presents we bust out the apple cider. Damn it was good. I had about 3 glass full. We sat talking about embarrassing Christmas stories.

"So basically that's how my cousin ended up falling face first in the macaroni." Izzy finishes off. I take a sip of my crisp apple drink as everyone else laughs.

It was a funny story I just didn't want to choke. Eventually the actual big Christmas party was going to start, it should've went over the intercom a few minutes ago.

Apparently everyone joins in the main space around the tall Christmas tree and the teachers say a bunch of shit and we get cookies and drinks and stuff. Not bad but could be better.

"So are we doing it?" Preston asks.
"Do what?" I ask sipping my drink.

"Oh you'll see." Mitch says nodding. Izzy and Stacy give me a confused look and I just shrug. Everyone else smiles, they probably know what's going to happen.

At the party the cafeteria people came out with trays of cookies. Every mobbed the table they were at but thankfully Jerome grabbed me one before the mob got intense. They were really good!

"Thanks Jerome." I say with a mouth full of cookie. Mine is decorated as a Christmas tree and his as a gingerbread man. Cheesy yet really cute. The principle, Mr. Margo, gives a speech about the holidays.

About how they're about spending time with your family, being thankful, all that stuff. I kind of zone out looking out the window seeing the falling snow.

I think about the next few weeks. Mostly everyone in the school will be gone. I'm going to miss everyone. I grab Jerome's hand feeling it makes me less tense.

It's like he just radiates hope yet he doesn't let him have that hope. When he finishes some of the teachers and counselors say a few words.

"I have to go babe meet you after this." He kisses my cheek and heads toward the restrooms where I also see Mitch and the other guys.
