Chapter 18

Everyone charged into TCRI surrounded my the Kraang. "Let our mothers go." Alice ordered. The Kraang just looked at each other. "Kraang will not take what are known as orders from a little human girl." Alice hit the robot with her arrow. "We're warning you." Kayla said calmly. "Let our moms go!" Emma exclaimed. And with the whip of her chain, Julie sent the Kraang droids flying. Raph smiled to himself. He really liked the twins. But he started noticing Julie a little more than Emma. "We'll hold off the Kraang. You go save your moms!" Leo exclaimed. The five girls ran in almost every hall in TCRI until they finally came to the room where they last saw their moms. The three chairs where Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Wilson were tied to were empty. They must have escaped! All of a sudden 3 giant mutant things hopped over to the girls. Mrs. Johnson looked like a lion the the wings of a pigeon, Mrs. Davis looked like a frog with monkey ears and bunny teeth, and Mrs. Wilson was like a mix of a termite and a scorpion. They stared at each other and the girls finally let it all sink in. They were too late. The Kraang had mutated their mothers. Just when it seemed that ALL hope was lost, it got even worse. The mutant mothers started attacking the girls. Instead of fighting back, they ran away. Alice ran into the room where the turtles were fighting and bumped into Leo. Being so frustrated, she just hugged Leo while sobbing onto his shoulder. Everyone was looking at the two not knowing how to react. Leo rested his chin on her head to calm her down. Alice immediately realized what happened and tore away from the hug embarrassed. "Oh...um....sorry.... L-Leo." she managed to say. "It's ok. Lets all talk about this in the lair." They ran to the nearest back exit and went down into their home.
