The bus was moving quickly and Alice could hear the wheels moving. She was watching the onboared TV and heard something that caught her eye. She couldn't make out what the reporter said but the headline was Four large creatures spotted in New York City. "Oh thats just great!" She accidentally said aloud. "What's great?" Kayla asked. Alice pointed to the TV and Kayla look surprised and annoyed. Then she looked a little happy. "Maybe they are nice. Maybe we can meet them." Julie stared at her for a little. Then said sarcastically, "Oh yeah! We can meet total strangers who might be dangerous. Of course we can have tea and crumpets because there is no such thing as evil." "Or maybe they will eat our faces!" Emma replied not getting the sarcasm. And a little annoyed. Paige calmed everyone down by saying " Don't worry guys. These creatures are only seen in alleyways and rooftops. Plus they can only be seen at night. Believe me, we're safe." This made everyone feel better. "I'm sure we can make it out alive." Alice joked. Mrs. Wilson turned around and said, "We will be arriving in about 15 minutes so get ready!" "YAY!" everyone shouted. I've been waiting for ever to have this vacation. Alice thought. Nothing is going to stop me from having fun... not if I can help it.
