Torres POV
I saw Ellie's eyes water and trying to avoid me looked away. My jaw clenched even more I felt I was going to break a tooth.
McGee notice our dynamic and asked "Bishop what's wrong?" - " Nick you look like you're ready to punch a hole in the wall?"
Ellie looked up and nodded at me.
I read to McGee what I read moments before.

McGee POV
Torres just finished reading the email and I'm still in shock. I had to pass some saliva a couple of time just to be able to close my mouth properly. I saw Bishop with tears in her eyes she looked up to me and said "Why when I'm starting to feel whole again does he have to come back"- it killed me Ellie is like a little sister to me and seen her suffer hurts me. Just as I was about to say something Gibbs walks in.

Gibbs POV
I walk from the elevator after coming from autopsy and stoping at the lab with Kasey. The atmosphere doesn't feel the same, is some what colder than usual. I think to myself is expected we lost Reeves and Abby, the team is still grieving the loss of two people they cared about. But getting to the bullpen my gut told me it had nothing to do with that. I looked at Torres who had this look in his face and McGee was out of words.
Looking down at Ellie she showed me her phone and I read an emailed sent by her no good ex husband. Looking at Ellie I suggested she go home to clear her had. I remember what she had gone thru with him and I don't want to put pressure. We couldn't handle loosing another agent so soon.
Torres POV
I'm hearing that Gibbs is sending Ellie home and she accepted. Gibbs gave me a look that made me think he knew I had feelings for her. He simply said "wrap up the case finish your reports and talk to her" with hesitation I try to play it off and said " I don't know what you mean"-
"Rule 12"- "I'll admen it for you two only this once. Make sure you don't hurt her or I will hurt you" I smiled and thanked him. After finishing up I look to McGee who gave me a thumbs up and wished me luck.
