Nick and I drive to Gibbs house we get out and I get this wave of nerves. Nick looks at me and tell me hey will be okay since the beginning we've had his blessing he will be okay with this news. Yeah you're right I said to him will be okay . We walked down toward the basement to find him sanding his boat.
Hey Gibbs we said.
Hey you two what brings you down here
Well we wanted to talk to you about something important.

After a minute of silence and awkward looks Nick tells him
Ellie is pregnant she's seven weeks.
Gibbs smiled and congratulated us after he head slapped me and said that's what you get for getting her pregnant. We both laughed and then he directed his attention to Ellie. Okay Bishop I have to inform the director and you are on desk duty until you have your baby. As to when you wanna tell the team is up to you I will respect your decision. I felt so much at ease and Nick was over the moon. I love to see how happy he was about having a baby. I never thought we would get to this point in our life. Not so long ago I thought it would never be possible but here we are.
