Seeing Ellie handle him like that made me proud of her. And reassured me that there was not a single drop of care for him. We walked out of the room and I instantly hugged her.

Ellie smiled and said to me I'm just glad that we can close this half of the case. I was about to kiss her when she held her had to her mouth and ran to nearest trash can. I looked at her confused but we simply brushed it off.
For the next few weeks we worked on leads for the organization that kidnapped Jake and killed his wife. I was looking at Ellie, she said she was fine but she didn't look fine at all for two weeks she had been getting up to throw up in the mornings and she wasn't as hungry as before. I kept thinking to myself until I realize could she be pregnant?
Ellie's POV
I hadn't been feeling well at all. I kept telling Nick that I was fine but I was far from it. I just found out I'm pregnant and morning sickness was sticking to me. I couldn't hold down anything expect salted crackers. I think Nick is starting to notice so I gonna have to tell him soon. I just wish his okay with this news. During our lunch break I approach him
